It had to be grand theft auto advanced. It gets really addictive at first but then I basically stop playing for some reason in which I don't know why. I think its because I didn't like running over people with firetrucks .

I think the first M-rated game I played was the old Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64 with my cousins. Man was that thing fun but holy hell did I get yelled at when my mom found out about that...it was worth it. XD

Wow, the first M-rated game I have ever played?
That is a tough one.

The only Mature game that I can remember playing a lot when I was younger was Grand Theft Auto 3. I know for a fact this was not the very first M rated game that I have ever played (had to be a N64 game, either Perfect Dark or Goldeneye 007), but it is the one game that has severely impacted my youth. It came out on the PS2 when I was 11 years old, so I was WAAY too young to ask my parents to get it for me; no chance in hell! However, when my sister got married in 2002, her husband had a PS2 and he had a wide variety of games to play. One game stuck out to me because of the cartoon-ish cover it had, and its was called Grand Theft Auto 3. They wouldn't let me play it, though, because I was too young.

So, maybe a year passed and I was 12 years old, I stayed over their house for the weekend for some reason (can't remember why but does not matter anyway). I was excited because I was planning on playing GTA 3 while I was there without them noticing. Well, it did not work because they saw me playing the game and they explained to me how it was just a game and that none of it was real. I understood what they were saying to me, so they let me play the game even though I was too young. Once I found the cheat codes you could use in the game (like weapon cheats, armor and health cheat, intense gore, etc.) I was playing this game non-stop. Also, this was the same time when I stayed up the latest because I had played this game until 3am!

Now that 10+ years have passed, and I am now 23 years of age, I have obtained a lot of respect for the Grand Theft Auto franchise and Rockstar Games. It is a very fond memory I have from my youth, and it brings a smile to my face every time I think about it

It has to be the Grand Theft Auto games, back when the games were completely birds eye view, and you only had a split second to react when something gets in your way. (There have been multiple times where I have been driving and then I randomly hit a dead end and crash into the buildings.

I say the first was GTA Vice City I have no idea how I managed to get a copy of that though I guess some would say I was a sneaky one perhaps.
