Personally I enjoy ESPN because I can catch up on what happened during the day quickly.

I prefer Comcast Sports net though because that is where I can watch all of my favorite sports teams play. Bulls, Blackhawks, White Sox.

Totts : Well I have DirecTV so I am never at a shortage of sports channels…. In regard to regional networks I almost always stick to the New York region because that is where I am from and I follow the New York teams and it makes sense to watch those from Florida.


In regard to national sports networks I have to say that ESPN is the top dog though I do enjoy what Versus does from time to time. I have seen some broadcasts of Sky Sports in the UK and they are also very good but what I can’t understand being an American is why do the powers that be in the UK charge a monthly subscription fee for ESPN and even the contest I saw advertised as ESPN was primarily Soccer?


If there are any members who are in the UK who have knowledge in this area please explain it to me because it has always confused me though I’ve never left the US so I am guessing that those in the UK might have a differing and perhaps more informed view than I do on this one.
