Those of you who did not know, the latest DC comic Superhero movie is going to be the Green Lantern. I'm actually looking forward for this to finally come out as a movie. The trailer came out, and I have some concerns that it might cram too much of the origin in an approx. 2 hour film. Also, the choice of the actor is more of a comedic character, when Hal Jordan is suppose to be more of a serious character...Oh, and we already know that the sequel is on its way, so it really depends on how good this film is.

Been waiting years for this one... I have been a GL fan since I was 5, and the idea of Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan? Too cool! The trailer looks good, it has a solid cast and apparently (from what I've heard) they're going with the idea of using each film to lead into the next, as opposed to the very episodic films the used to plague Superman or Batman. Can't wait!!

I don't know about this movie. I don't know the Green Lantern very well and the trailer isn't really good or exciting in my opinion. My brother is looking forward to this movie because he knows the Green Lantern and can't wait to see it but I'm a bit sceptical. I'll see the movie but not surely at the cinema.

Horrible... Green Lantern was a Purple Heart Honorably Discharged marine, who yes, was black.  I don't know who this guy is that they are trying to show, he acts arrogant, isn't the proper race for the role and this is almost like a sick reminder of what they did with Juggernaut back in the X-Men movie that made him look like a toothpick.  My stance is that the film makers badly messed up, again.  No way, I'm not going to go see this.
