Going to the dentist is just another thing to do. I don't like or dislike it. I've never had a cavity and just go for a polish so there's no real pain factor involved, just gotta sit in a chair and look at a kitten poster for 15-20 minutes.

Depends on the dentist. It can be a pleasant experience, say if they are social and friendly. But generally make sure to take care of your teeth. After a couple of cavities I have definitely started to worry a lot more about my teeth. I hate those drills, and numbness injection (-_+)

I don't really mind going. After all, it's only done to have a look at your teeth and see if there's anything wrong, and fixing the possible problem is a lot nicer than being in pain. Though, I find it quite awkward if there are dentist students in the same room watching.
