Ok you know how most Pokemon only grunt or speak their name? Like thats how they pronounce and enunciate everything? Well how do they cross-species talk? Like how does Pikachu communicate with Squirtle? How does Pikachu understand what "Squirt, Squir, Squirtle!" means? He only talks with "Pika, Pikapi, and Pikachu".

I could compare it to like 3 people trying to talk when one speaks english, another french, and the other german. It just doesnt make sense right?

I have always thought that. They always talk to each other but there is not way that they could understand the logic is just off. I really do not get it. I mean from what it sounds like all pokemon have different languages.

Even though Pokemon can only speak their own names, the other Pokemon could understand what they mean because all of the things Pokemon say are one language: Pokemon language. It's sort of like as if you learned how to speak Italian, and then you talk to an Italian person.

Pokemon are all mind readers that can read the meaning in words when they are said, no matter what says them.
This is a logical assumption seeing as they can understand Pokemon of different species as well as understand everything a human is saying as well.
Doesnt mean they have psychic powers, just that they are good at understanding things.

I know right! It's like a Teddiursa walks up to a Chimchar and says "Teddy, Teddiursa!" And Chimchar says "Chim, Chimchar!" That doesn't make any sense! Nintendo has some explaining to do.
