Well comparing it to other kids anime I think that it is really just the best out of Pokemon and stuff. Now comparing it to adult anime it does not stand up nearly as much.

I don't like Naruto. I don't like anime.

Death Note is the only anime that I really like, and that's because Death Note is BOSS!

Besides, all the Naruto games suck. But power to you, it's just not my preference.

Naruto isn´t really "best" since no anime is really "best" but it is good in its way and perhaps "best in some ways". So two reasons that make us bow before this giant of a manga showering it in praise as the jolly good lowly servants we are to it.

1. Consistant storyline, from the very first episode the storyline of the end is unraveling itself bit by bit and no part of the story is 100% irrevelant (that is in the manga, the anime can go hop into a pit of snakes).

2. Creative & gives each character its own flavor, unlike in DB where everyone is flying and learning the same energy blasts and doing the same punches and just being the same on different levels of power, Naruto has something unique to most any character, each of the 12 "main" students that the story follows (I say 12 but not 9 cos I´m including Gai´s team) has something different from the other, even the two Hyuuga members Hinata and Neji are a bit different in their fighting style (Hinata is more focused on speed with her chakra while Neji is more about using his eyes for intuition).

There, two reasons to gawk at this masterpiece we call Naruto.

I'll also note that I like the fact that some events that happened/certain characters showing up way early in the series were all explained and had a place in the later parts. I'll have to explain what I mean when I have more time, but for example, Itachi showing up in Konoha (with Kisame) the beginning of the series. There was a reason he did that that was explained much later, after Sasuke fights him.

now please dont take this the wrong way, i dont mean to flame but...

how can you say an anime thats 90% filler is good
how can you say an anime where the main character is a ninja in an ORANGE jumpsuit is good
how can you say an anime where BOTH seasons revolve around the same emo trip*** is good

now let me describe narutos first season for you
"Your my best friend, and my greatest enemy" *uber long fight*

second season
"WE MUST STOP AKATSUKI SO WE CAN BRING SASUKE BACK"

I'm sorry but this is one of the worst anime I have ever gotten hooked on :3

lawliet701 : Ok i agree with the normal Naruto season that was full of Fillers but Shippuden has bad maybe 20 fillers if that. So I dont think it is plausible to just state that the first two seasons were the high point of the anime. Also in the Shippuden episodes he does not wear just a Orange jumpsuit he looks better in what he is wearing then when he had the jumpsuit. He has matured more over the area of the show. I also agree with Ellert that the series is more based on the characters and the interactions and explaining who is there for what reasons. I have to dissagree with the statement that it is all about some emo crap because it is not nearly as "Emo" as some other things.

I don't like Naruto at all. I think the American version is complete crap and just goes on. Plus the animation is lousy. Shippuden is less annoying but I still don't like it.

i dont like naruto i thinked it was crap i like pokemon more btter but in the later anime shows of naruto atleast naruto was saying belive it all the time
