All the consoles I used were pretty good, but if I HAZ to pick one out of the ones I used, it would probably be the original Game Boy. It had a few good games (Pokemon, Metroid, and others) but their were a lot of not so good games, and the design for the original Game Boy wasn't that great either.

The Atari 5200 is the lowest quality console of all time. It failed to get a good library of games and on top of that, it was trying to replace the Atari 2600, but the 5200 didn't have backwards compatibility with the 2600.

In terms of overall "lowest quality" console, I'm going to have to agree with the Atari 2600/5200. I personally wasn't able to experience the console back in the day myself, but playing emulators I can get a pretty decent idea. Perhaps a console more like the Amstrad GX4000 would more likely earn the spot of "most short-lived" console.

I think the lowest quality is Gamebay, but I never actually played one. The worst one that I've played was probably the PS2. Playstation did a good job, but PS2 was nothing special. PS3 isn't much better, but I haven't played it.
