I picked rivers, not only for swimming though they r the most fun for that too. If you wanna chill u can just get a tube and tie a 12 pack onto it and that is an entire day right there or you can swim the rapids. Fishing rivers is my fav too, also white water rafting is fun too. I'm kinda a riverrat especially when it comes to fishing.

I'm a competitive swimmer, so I definitely would go with the pool. I like the occasional swim in other places, though. Try falling out of a canoe during a trip... Twice! Then you'll have a nice swim.

I'm on the swim team and I swim almost daily and I'm sick of the pool . That's why I choose ocean. When I'm swimming in the ocean, it's usually peaceful and to me, I think of how amazing it is to be swimming in one of the HUGE 5 oceans. Also, I just love the beautiful waves. And I prefer saltwater than chlorine water.
