Plus there are alot of scalpers, people that bulk buy an item as soon as it comes out and sell it at 3 times the cost.

I use eBay on occassion, I also use The Book Depository for books and RobotKingdom for my Transformers toys / figures / collectables.

I used to use eBay to shop. Now I just buy off of Amazon.com. I guess I don't trust eBay as much, I still by once in a while from eBay. Plus it seems like Amazon actually has more items that are completely new. So that's part of it.
