So, those of you who own a Wii, I'm sure you might have encountered the whole "An error has occurred. Please turn off your Wii and refer to the Wii Operations Manual for blah blah blah..." So... My Wii's been doing that a lot lately :/... (It made me have to play a whole dungeon all over in Wind Waker, even though I've already beaten the game before but it's soooo annoying) What can I do to fix this problem? Please help! I really need my Wii so I can get some awesome games coming out this year... :/

I'd say back-up anything you might want to keep then factory restore it, that might eliminate the problem yo are having. Also I'm not sure about this, but you may have to do an update like the PS3 routinely does, not sure though, just another idea...

I don't think i can backup ALL my save files(precious Brawl save file :O) and i don't think you can load some of the channels from your SD card(Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Super Metroid... All gone). Plus, how do you factory restore it? lol

Go to system options and find Format Wii System Memory (should be Wii options, last selection on last page) according to the manual that will wipe all data from the Wii internal memory.
There isn't a way to "restore to factory settings" though, unless you use some type of homebrew to wipe the consoles entire memory.
But then you need a clean backup to retore from...

This ancient thread has been bumped twice, with 5 month gaps in between the last two bumps. I'm going to close this now.
