So, if nobody else wants to make this because they have none, Ig I will.

My goals are:

  1. learn To Juggle, which has been on my list since 2020. Please help.
  2. Make a post here every single day, that means I'll have to find posts every day, I cannot forget.
  3. Do a diary at least every other day, I tried last year but failed on day 5.
  4. Get a Full setup in my room. That includes a Keyboard and Mouse (Already got it) TV, desk (Already go it), and LED lights
  5. My last and final goal, run on the treadmill, every other day, or once a week.

So, are you going to keep yours? Or have you already broken them? Or do you just not care?

I don't really have any specific goals, but that's because the things I want to do/change don't depend entirely on me. And those who do maybe are not feasible within the present year, so yeah.

I do want to get back to writing and better emplying my free time. I haven't got used to my schedule yet, still battling with more things and people than I'd like to, so if I ever get it stable enough maybe I can recover that old habit of mine. Or at least employ my free time better and actually do things that soothe my soul instead of just being trapped in a spiral.

I could also try to find an empty spot for me to exercise. I already use the stairs at home and elsewhere, so my life is anything but sedentary, but I'd like to learn how to dance Hakken and Melbourne Shuffle. It would be a good and funny way to exercise, as well as getting better at raving which is always welcome. But of course, all of this cannot be done without dealing with the one above.

The other goals I could set lie on a darker spectrum of life that shall not be shared here. Don't worry, it's nothing dangerous, but it means a lot to me and I want to make some real progress for once. From tomorrow on the path will be laid, we'll see if we reach a good ending in twelve months.

well before Christmas my doctor told me I had lost weight so I want to try and do a better job at it (I guess my new tasks at work did me a favor because I've been moving around) so I ended up buying a scale after Christmas

also since I finally got my new bed I want to do better at keeping my room clean (I got a Swiffer for Christmas too mostly because there is so much hair on the floor in my room and I don't have any pets) so I'm also going to improve my decluttering skills in my room, I'm also working on getting more storage just so my room will look a little bit cleaner

plus I'm getting extra stuff to do at work so I'm going to practice folding laundry better

Also since I now have my new bed I'm going to be saving for a new desk with a new cabinet (my mother is insisting on a desk without drawers) and I'm also in between office chairs right now (though I do admit it's causing me to really up my under desk elliptical usage)

My main goal is to try not getting arrogant or overcomplacent. At work I tell people in the building I am in it is very to get complacent on what you are doing since you do it everyday.. Becoming complacent where I work can easily lead to messing up in ways you think you are doing stuff correctly.

I see myself and think I am doing something right and then I slowdown and actually read stuff and I see there is stuff I miss that I never look at or do.

Outside of work wise though it is mostly to try being more positive in life. I have a very negative outlook on stuff and tend to think of what could go wrong instead of hey let's make today a better day.

My main goal for the year is to gain 10,000 new followers on my work social media account, which I don't think will be too hard. My next goal is to finally finish the book that I've been working on since July. Instead of doing multiple volumes I plan on condensing everything into one book and want to finish by December. I also want to get my weight back down to where it was a few months ago.

I don't really believe in New Year's Resolutions or goals for a specific period of time or anything like that. If I want to do something, I just do it, and I do it the best that I can.

Something that I want to do recently is get back into YouTube. I've been doing it, and it's been going well. Again, I don't have any specific goals related to it, but I'd like to do it to the best of my ability for the foreseeable future. If my channel grows to the point where it can be a profitable side hustle, that would definitely be nice.

Other than that, no major goals for 2025 I guess. Just continue to do the best job I can at everything I do, continue to make improvements to my house, and continue to make extra payments toward my mortgage whenever I can.

Like tgags, I also don't really believe in the whole "new year, new me" New Year's resolution/goal thing. If there's something I want to accomplish or change, I'd rather start now and do it well. I don't see the point in waiting for the start of the new year to make changes you could start making now.

That said, since we're already in 2025 anyway, I think I'll commit to setting money aside to visit Japan this year. I've wanted to go for the last 4-5 years, but something always seems to get in the way. Even if I don't actually go this year, it would be great to have the funds ready whenever the time is right.

On that note, if I commit to saving for the trip, it only makes sense for me to re-commit to learning enough Japanese to say basic phrases, greetings, etc so that I'm not completely lost and clueless whenever I finally make it to Japan.

So this is something I always sorta struggle with I don't do new years resolutions per say but I do like to have something in mind I'm aiming for but the whole "oh yeah new year I'm going to start this or not do this" will never work for me. That said I had a really good year last year so trying to make this year seem even half as good when I did a lot of things I considered bucket list type goals last year and then also got married so yeah I have a goal that relates to my marriage but I'll talk about that in a different thread at some point when it makes more sense.

I have a few new goals now because some of my others were hit so fast. My original goal from January for my work social media account was to gain 10,000 new followers throughout the year, which would put me at around 22,500 total. But we aren't even done with March yet and I'm already close to 40,000 so now my new goal is to hit 60,000 total by the end of the year which would be 48,000 new follows. I also want to do well enough at my night job that when I get my first performance based raise at the end of October, that it's better than average.

So, I have still been trying to lose weight (I've been maintaining under 300 at least so I consider that a victory)

I have been using my swifter as regularly as I possibly can

and I have gotten a new office chair not too long after I did my post about my 2025 goals however I have been told that neither parent is in a hurry to get me a new desk (what are they waiting for? it to completely break? no they're waiting for me to clean out the drawers but even if I do clean them out I doubt I can keep them empty long enough for them to get one)

classgame : Those are nice goals! That's good that you're trying to loose weight and yeah.

zanderlex : How did you get so many followers? I barely have 500 subscribers on YouTube. (Which I'd assume is the same as followers)

SonicOlmstead : I kind of struggle with that too lol. I can never get stuff done.

SacredShadow : I agree with the first thing. Also saving up money to go to Japan is awesome!

tgags123 : I really need to get back into YouTube again too, but that's good that you're trying to get back in it!

pokemon x : Yknow maybe I should have those goals...

EX Palen : Writing is fun. Also yeah, stairs are a good workout lol.
