If you have a Steam Deck, what are some cool things you do with it? I've had mine for almost a year and the only thing I bothered with were playing Steam games and working with emulators and mods. I know that there's so much more you can do with it since it's still just a computer but I could use some ideas.

This probably has limited use, and I'm not sure how many games actually let you do this, but maybe the Steam Deck could be used as a second screen for some sort of set-up?

Just imagine for a moment: a Racing Game on TV you control with the Steam Deck, with the handheld screen being used for a full track overview and information like driver positions, clearing some of the clutter on the screen. Or a sports game where you can direct other members of your team more easily via the Deck.

Some of the things I’ve done on my Steam deck include emulation and various Steam games. As far as emulation goes, I recently started playing a game that recently got an English fan translation called Tales of Rebirth. As far as Steam games go, I always find myself going back to a game called 100% Orange Juice, that one’s basically anime Mario Party without the minigames. Sounds like a pretty boring description but it’s actually pretty fun and addicting. Steam Deck’s also a good way of playing indie games as well. I’ve recently been playing a game called Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore. That game is basically what you’d get if the Zelda CD-I games were actually good. Yes, somebody actually decided to make a game directly inspired by 2 of the most infamous video games of all time… but make it fun!

Anyway, I preordered the Steam Deck and have had my original model ever since. I wish they wouldn’t have made an OLED model so soon after it first came out, otherwise I would’ve waited for that lol. Oh well, I don’t regret my purchase.
