Well I'll for sure be watching because I've got a good feeling about Team Canada again, sure it might not be as exciting and I shouldn't expect a repeat from their women's soccer team or from Andre De Grasse (but it would be nice though)

I mostly watch the winter Olympics. My main sports are Baseball and American Football. However, my wife wants to watch the Olympics so I guess I will watch them with her. Team USA usually does well. I just hope team USA does not get political like they did last time. I could care less about politics I just want watch the games not for players to get political. Team Canada has done well the past Olympics as well. I can see team Canada racking up the metals. Hope your country does well.

I really want to watch, I'm excited, I've been waiting for 3 years! (I might like the winter Olympics more, but I'm not sure, I do like that it happens more though) My favorite part might be Swimming??

Honestly one of the reasons I actually do appreciate the olympics is that countries of the world come together even those that don't get along very well to compete in events, it's something I realized 8 years ago when I saw the selfies with the South and North Korean Gymnasts

I'll be watching, for sure. It's a major sporting event, congregating the world's best athletes in several different disciplines. I admit I don't like several of them, but well, such a big competition can't be perfect can it?

I won't miss athletics, specially the speed events of 100, 200 and 400 meters which are absolutely electric. The relays are good too, but the individual prowess is amazing. The longer distances aren't as appealing to me, but I may watch other disciplines like jumping.

I also want to check swimming. They're very interesting events too, and with a lot of variety. And I won't miss diving either, it's amazing what the athletes can achieve in such a reduced time frame. As for sports I follow beyond the Olympics, my eyes will also be set on tennis, some big names have dropped in all draws but anything can happen in this once-every-four-years tournament.

In terms of following my country's athletes... I may pass. We do have serious medal contenders in several disciplines but I'm more of a sports lover rather than just watching my own countrymen. I'll check how our athletes fare via the news and all of that, for watching for my own enjoyment I have plenty to look out for.

Man I don't know why but I fell like the Olympics have really been under promoted this time around I mean come on it's in Paris for heavens sake
