Hey y’all. I hope this post is seen by some familiar faces or former friends. Vizzed was a formative part of my middle and high school experience. I was obsessed with this website and made connections here in a way I had difficulty doing in real life. I loved the retro game room before Nintendo swooped in and ruined the fun (booooo). But my favorite part was always the community. I loved interacting with people here, especially playing forum games like legacy3me’s Survival (i think that’s what it was called?) in Innocent Town. I would have been a real lonely kid if not for this place. Thanks @Davideo7 for lovingly crafting and maintaining such an amazing website and community it’s really good to see that there are still active people here, especially some ones I recognize.

I guess life got in the way of me staying active on here. I graduated college last year and moved across the country with my girlfriend for work. I’m much more confident in my social abilities now and have grown a lot, but I miss the simpler times sometimes and cherish the memories I made on here. I’m a bit nostalgic if you can’t tell lol, but I think that’s something retro gamers like us have in common.

Anyways, if you recognize me, say hey. It’d be cool to catch up with some old pals.

Hey. Nice to see ya. I think a lot of us can relate to those sentiments. (I know I definitely can, at least.) The middle school and high school obsession, the sense of community, the nostalgia, and life getting in the way. All part of my story as well. Good to see that you seem to be doing well!

Also, nice to see that things have seemingly been going well for you, Hopefully that trend continues throughout the years.

I think nostalgia is one of the main reasons people pop by and say hello occasionally, which is great, I just wish there was a more active community to welcome their ultimately short and sweet return.
