So we are nearing the end of July and I have posted about how we've had below average temperatures in Winnipeg (like it hasn't been way too hot) and it's kind of making me wish that fall would hurry up and come but then I've also had this fatigue feeling when a season suddenly does come it becomes a "Too much too soon" situation, which is normally what happens around Christmas (I don't want to hear a single note of Mariah Carey's Glockenspiel until after the two minutes of silence on November 11th)

nostalgia really plays a factor in this because Labour Day used to be quite the event on Teletoon (now Cartoon Network Canada) back when it was still Teletoon and a network that had a ton of Canadian content on the channel (but I think I'll save that for a different topic)

but even when September does roll around it can still be too hot out and it's so annoying because I'm eager to put my summer wardrobe away, I'm prepared to wear sweatpants but it's too hot. Truth is I'm not quite ready I'm still enjoying the time off I'm having and having time on my hands

I live in the Southern Part of the United States. It is usually hot in my area from April to October. I always look forward late October and November in my area. Usually daytime temps are in the upper 60's to low 70's. But at night temps drop into the low 40's. November is when my area rapidly cools. The average high for November 1st is 70 degrees. Average high November 30th is 56 degrees.

I also like Fall due to the weather. In my area Fall can be wild weather wise. November puts me in the mood for Christmas as well. Moreover, I like fall because it becomes easier for me to breath. I do not breath well when it is hot outside.

Another sign that I'm wishing it were fall right now is it's not just when the 2 minutes of silence is over Christmas starts it means I can start binge watching a bunch of commercials that I have memories of from my youth, so I guess it was no surprise that I became some sort of "Nostalgia Dealer" back in 2020 (even better because it gave me something to do during the shut downs), I just hope we don't reach a point where the stuff from the mid-90s through early 2000s become too rare because everything after 2002 I have absolutely no nostalgia for because I remember too many negatives from the 2000s, compared to the 90s where I remember more of the positives than the negatives (more pop culture than news stories)

No, I don't but I have that "I wish it was Winter already" felling, I know it is, but, I feel like there hasn't been much snow, it's not Winter until it snows, like, it's not Summer until it's warm out, what if it was like 50 outside in summer, that wouldn't be summer, that'd be fall.

Fall does seem to be a common favourite season. However, being in Canada, I can’t believe you find September too hot sometimes! I mean, I even don’t find September too hot and look at my suit of armour.

Also, I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who love teletoon as much as you do; it’s your second post I’ve read about it!
