For the past 2 months, I been playing a lot of new games and wanted to get back into playing some retro games. If you know a game that came out during the 4th & 5th and 6th gen that I should play? you reply it on this post.

PS 4th are SNES and Genesis, 5th are PS1 N64 and Sega Saturn, and 6th are Gamecube,PS2,OG Xbox and Dreamcast

Depends, do you have any particular genre or games you like? I can think of plenty of games but I'm not sure whether they would be to your tastes or not.

Okay, I might be a little biased here because I'm a fan of Mega Man.

For the SNES. I recommend playing Mega Man 7, Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3. These games are very good, have good plots, and the music is amazing.

I do not know if this site has them. But Yoshii's Island, Kirby Super Star, and Kirby Dreamland 3 are also good games.

For Genesis I recommend any of the sonic games. I also recommend Streets of Rage 2 if your into beat em up type games.

Playstation I. I recommend Mega Man Legends 1 and 2. Bust a move 99 if your into puzzle games.

For the N64 I recommend Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie.

For Playstation 2. I don't have that many playstation 2 games. The one I do have and that I enjoy is Mega Man X8.

You can try Guardian's Crusade on the PS1. It's one of my all-time favorite games because it's a fun RPG but it has a lot of RPG aspects that were seen for the first time in this game.

it may be kind of difficult as most Nintendo games aren't available because of DMCA related reasons if I would suggest a Genesis game I would suggest Streets of Rage (but heads up the 3rd game is difficult)

For the SNES, you can't really go wrong with RPGs. Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy 6 are masterpieces, but even lesser-known SNES RPGs like the Breath of Fire games are well worth playing.

Or if you don't have enough time to invest in RPGs, the SNES and Genesis have no shortage of great platformers. The Castlevania and Contra games on both systems are awesome. So is the Super Star Wars trilogy (SNES), ActRaiser (SNES), Aladdin (both the SNES and Genesis versions) Castle of Illusion and World of Illusion (Genesis), the Sonic the Hedgehog trilogy (Genesis), and lots, lots more.

Also, even though Nintendo had their first-party games removed from this site, if you have a Nintendo Switch, you can download a whole bunch of awesome SNES games with a Nintendo Switch Online account, which include Nintendo greats like Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Earthbound, Super Metroid, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, and much more.
