What are some of the big goals that you want to accomplish in 2023 whether something super personal, something on the site, or something silly?

For me, the two biggest goals that I have set out for the year are to make it to 1,000 followers on Twitter and to interview more voice actors for my stories.

There are 2 main areas I would like to focus on this year.

The first is relating to my finances and professional experience. I will (hopefully) be graduating with a bachelors in sociology come summer, and I'm hoping to get a more qualified job in order to save some money. My vague plan has always been that I'm going to take a break a few years before going back to school. I want to go live abroad by working as English teacher (as I have certification for it). To really explore the world for a bit, try to ignite my sense of wonder and learn about new things. I'm doing my best to prepare for that this year.

In the process I'm also trying to get some more relevant work experience in the areas I'm interested in (teaching, research, science communication and content creation). It's part of me trying to solidify my career direction. This kind of leads into my second focus.

There are some creative pursuits I have that kind of ties in to the above. I want to find more ways to channel my creativity in general. The main thing is that I've long thought about getting into content creation and to combine it with my teaching interest. Specifically making a youtube channel with a focus on vlogs, video essays and science communication relating to language learning and/or social science. I'm still iffy on the exact concept, but I told myself this will be the year where I start acting on it. To learn by doing rather than having it as a vague idea in my head.

So here's to 2023 and making things happen!

Well, my goals are simple really, get all of YDKJ the ride filmed and on my youtube channel. Not to mention I have to expect my computer to go kablooie this year (I'll explain in my next storytime thread) as well as making a better effort to de-clutter my room I should work on the containers on my desk as well I question why most of them have crap in them

and shop a little less I went a little crazy before the holidays at Torrid (it's a plus size friendly store, I wish the prices were though, however the weather is making it impossible for me to stay home, ah well I need tea anyway)

also I will pre-write several more reviews for the vizzed so that I won't have to wear myself out this summer

oh and I will also be doing a better job of backing up projects and trying to eat less potato and dairy (gotta find some way to reduce the crap in my throat)

My main goal is to successfully graduate from school. My last batch of exams is coming in less than 20 days and I have a couple of difficult subjects to take on, but hopefully I'll be able to pass. After that, just the final module and clearing my practice hours and I should be good to go (fingers crossed everything goes smooth).

Related to this goal is to solidify myself at my work place, which will happen after the summer. I have very little motivation in regards to this job and I have an extreme tendency to evade from reality, which is already affecting severely my studies and will for sure pursue me later on. I need to find the balance within myself and keep aiming forward.

Other than that, my goals are more on the personal level. I want to fully stabilize myself at home, get a routine for the chores and what not, and also to be fully productive with my free time as well instead of just killing time by doing things. Another goal I have isn't entirely on my end to get even though I want it the most, but I have to be realistic about the chances of achieving it.

The goal of being more socially active has been underway since the last third of the past year, but I want to use the chance of getting rid of the studies to gear this up a notch. I want to see what else can I discover out there and see what good surprises await me.

I have a few goals set in mind for 2023.

I want to continue to improve on my Twitch channel and newly created YouTube channel. Been streaming on twitch for awhile and still working to become affiliate. Its takes time especially when you stream mostly niche content. My YouTube channel is just becoming a place where i post recordings for my Twitch VODs for now as i learn how to use DeVinci Resolve to edit some of my videos.

I also want to work on drawing with different art styles and stop procrastinating most of the time. Not much to improve outside of that since i already reached the level of skill i wanted.

Lastly, i want to get out of working retail later this year. CVS sucks. Its not even the customers anymore, the company is really bad. I'm still looking to where i want to go next.

for me my personal Goal is to get Closer to God. As a Christian that is always my goal. My second goal is to be a better person. Due to all the things that have gone on in the past 3 years. I'm trying to be more optimistic this year. Normally, I'm an optimistic person but the past three years have been brutal due to events going on.

My goal for 2023 is by the end of the year I hope to mentally be in a place where I can consider myself an adult cause it's not something I can currently do because I just don't feel like one even though I am 21 so I'm hoping working and such will push me to the point where I can confidently say I'm an adult instead of being like oh yeah I'm 21 and therefore an adult.

I'm not sure I have all that many main goals, but I do have a few.

First off, I want to graduate college with good standing, and I guess it is a goal to either get into law school or get a well-paying job in the summer.

Aside from the obvious goals, I want to be much more organized this year. I've certainly been much better about keeping things clean since I got my cat back in April, but I still think I could do a much better job.

I also want to be less reliant on my computer. At times when I'm not home and don't have access to my computer, it really does feel like I'm having slight withdrawals from not being able to use it. Even if I'm using my phone I still have the urge to play steam games or league or something.

I also want to be prepared for living completely on my own. Up until now I've had support from my parents but that is about to come to an end and I need to be ready to be an adult in full.

My last goal, and the most cliche one of all, is to get in better shape. I'm certainly not in bad shape, but my cardio could certainly use a lot of work as I'm not anywhere near as fit as I used to be when I played sports all the time.

I think that's pretty much it, didn't make many other goals, didn't have much time to think about it lol.

My biggest goal this year is to get back into college and finish my diploma before going to another city to get another one. It's been a huge challenge to get into the mindset where I feel focused enough to think I stand a chance, but I'm finally there and I think it's the only way to go forward.

Aside from that, I want to pay off a pretty big loan that I borrowed a couple of years ago at an absurdly low interest rate. I don't have to pay it back for decades, but I want to be fully cash positive for the future.

I have a published book out, but it's taken me years to finish the sequel (which is rather awkward considering that the first book ended on a cliffhanger and the inside back cover said the next book would be out the next year). My biggest goal for this year is to FINALLY get the sequel out.

I also have another book project in the work: a collection of short stories, each one with an arcade theme (like, they don't necessarily all take place at arcades, but arcade machines need to appear in every story). I'd like to get that book out this year too or at the very least have each story drafted and beta-read and rewritten so that it's CLOSE to being ready for publication.

As far as non-writing goals go, well, for almost two years now I've been suffering VERY EXTREME back pain, which has hampered basically everything in my life. I've had treatment after treatment and everything has either done nothing or made the pain worse. It would be NICE if this year I could finally get better and get my life back.

I'm not a big "New Years resolutions" guy, but there are a few general things I'd like to achieve this year.

-Get a full-time position at my job. There aren't any available right now, but I'm hoping throughout the year that my performance will prove to my supervisors that I can take on any task they have for me, and that they offer me a full-time position doing a mix of tutoring, curriculum development, academic coaching, and whatever else they need me to do.

-Have at least 50K in the bank by the end of the year. Saving for a house.

-Propose to my girlfriend.

Adult goals, I guess.

nearly a month into the year, and I am practically ignoring my planned resolutions, blew money on more Sailor Moon Pint glasses and I'm still not watching my budget, I went to Torrid last week and I found out I could only use Torrid Cash in installments
