Okay so this will be the last of these for awhile, the You Don't Know Jacks that is, I'm keeping my eye out for more (I'm giving myself a deadline of the first night of Hanukah to find another game, otherwise I'm going to the internet archive, it's not free on Steam if I do have to resort to that (the internet archive) I might get one of the standalone games because I would rather get The Ride second hand, I wouldn't know how to download a 2 disk game to save my life)
Gameplay and Story: So we have a new batch of questions (and a different host, pretty sure it's the same one as Volume 2) this time it revolves around tv trivia and thankfully we are not met with a barrage of questions in related to the Brady Bunch (that should have gotten it's own game) and it's times like this I wish that they made a rock n roll edition of the game (because hey Rock N Roll jeopardy existed).
Graphics: So a good chunk of the time it's on a green background with aqua text, though there was this one question about Dallas that made the game exit on me, I get that it was supposed to be a spoof of that one moment from Dallas, right now I'm trying to check and see if that's normal because it happened on my Windows 98 box. We get tv static when the Jack Attack comes but that's normal, but hey at least they stick to theming.
Soundtrack: This probably has the best segue soundtracks in any of the games, they do some recreations of opening themes or tv quotes (shame they didn't do Bewitched or I Dream of Jeannie) They use the Brady Bunch in two different areas a segue and background think music.
Addictive: I would say this is addictive but all the games in the franchise are anyway but I always have to play if if I marathon it
Depth: Again you have a choice of a 7 question game or a 21 question game so the game would last between 10 and 22 minutes, also in this game we don't have much but it could have used another Celebrity Collect Call feature considering this is tv trivia and a majority of the celebrities used were tv celebrities.
Difficulty: Depends how well you know your tv trivia...even if it only goes up tot he mid-90s, I really wish they made a second edition of this game so they could tear reality shows several new ones even if the DS game has (and maybe the Lost Gold too but I haven't played that yet) but I'm pretty good at tv trivia at least. Though I will admit there are some terms about it I don't understand. But hey I'll give it credit where credit is due, at least I learned stuff I never knew before, like Mr. Belvedere did Fantasy Island before Mr. Belvedere was a thing
Post-review follow up: Writer's block sucks so much, especially since the browser closed on me and the history was wiped out, I hate it when it does that because I had to start this review over, but this is still a fun game to play
This concludes my review, join me tomorrow when I review Arthur's Birthday for PC, now I have a game to play and not enough time to do anything this weekend
