The unfortunate reality of the green jersey. And I'm not even that bad off as a site staff, normal users have zero chance at that unless they spend the entire day on the site. It's the least competitive jersey every TdV for this exact reason.

I've been on both sides of this problem now and I can see how demotivating it can be for hopeful competitors because globals and admins can gain back all the points they lose by posting less just by rating 300 things like screenshots. Not that I blame the global+ for taking every advantage they can get, the fault lies with the jersey system itself.

Anyway, I'm doing the bare minimum today for exam reasons so enjoy this while y'all can

I'm shocked I won red yesterday I'm not going to lie.

I'll take it though. Not really motivated to do a lot today but hopefully that picks back up this week.

becerra95 : For the record I agree with green being near impossible to win unless you put much of your focus on just it instead of the rest of the jerseys which isn't really the best strategy for anyone trying to seriously compete in tour de vizzed but it's not like I alone have the power to change anything about the jersey unless I could come up with a better idea for how it should work and then got david to put time to change it I kind of want to try and win green someday when I'm no longer staff just to show I could win it without my advantages but alas at that point I wouldn't have motivation to still compete as I'm nearing most of my tour de vizzed goals....

Speaking of which I have finally overtook Yuna in most green jerseys which was a daunting task that I'm still happy to have accomplished even if one could argue it's not as meaningful as it could/should be due to the lack of competition I've faced in most tdvs for green not to say there hasn't been people who challenged me but more so with my advantages there's not really been anyone who spent the entire month trying for green.

As for other goals I wanna hit this month still, I wanna hit 100 green jerseys which I'm just 2 short of currently so that should be doable as well as I wanna hit 200 jerseys which once again I'm 2 short of so even if I fail to win another jersey besides green if I really focus on it like I have been I should be able to accomplish. Besides that the only other thing I see that I currently wanna hit this month is 10th in Red jerseys overall and I'm already tied for that so I just wanna win red once to be 10th overall alone instead of being tied with several others.

Furret grabs 3 Jerseys.

I'm ashamed to say it took me like 3 minutes to figure out what word count would be double that of 337. I was tired and for some reason my brain told me I had to go to 714, I guess I read it as 357.

Today I slept during the hours I normally compete so I'm just trying to do things here and there at the tail end of the day. I'm glad to have passed 200 points now. As long as I keep at it I have a comfortable enough lead in yellow and red that I should be able to win those.

Like Sonic, I'm very close to hitting 100 total red jerseys, which I'm happy about. It's my favorite jersey both visually and to compete for (although I've thoroughly enjoyed yellow so far this TdV).

Right now there seems to be a battle between classgame and Sonic as they've remained super close to each other the whole month so far. I just hope I can stay far enough out of reach of that :p

Depending on whether I get called for overtime or not tonight (which I’ll gladly accept) if I’m free I’ll probably do some posting and take a crack at the elusive green jersey that is apparently “near impossible” for use non staff/ mod users to get. I've been using this system now of sleeping at a normal hour and waking up before dawn to do some work for TdV. Being well rested whilst doing things around the site makes it so much more enjoyable.

Almost halfway done with the month, thank god.

I've been using this system now of sleeping at a weird hour and waking up to the sight of night light to do some looking at the tour de vizzed. Lack of rest whilst watching furret running a mock in the competition is a sore in the eyes. Honestly thought Sonic would at least try to usurp furret and use his admin card to win this competition

To be honest I sometimes wonder myself if the mods and admins have an unfair advantage because it seems that there are staff exclusive actions

Another day, another Furret.

I'm pretty sure most of the staff exclusive actions don't count for the TdV. Now I don't exactly remember which ones since it's been a while.

The biggest staff advantage lies in the higher action limit for normal actions.
