I finished up my last university course just about four days ago. I'll be attending my graduation ceremony on Friday.
I wanted to say something here specifically because this fact hit me hard - I have been on Vizzed a LONG time. I first found this site when I was in THIRD GRADE (signed up in fourth). I have been on this site throughout some of elementary school, and then throughout ALL of middle school, high school, and now university.
I realize there are, of course, people older than me who have been signed up longer and still pop in every now and then - but this moment is kinda where I feel like I truly belong in the "Vizzed old heads" club lol.
I signed up not long after I first turned 10 - and I'm about halfway through 22 now. That is now literally more than half of my life.
I've seen a lot of ups and downs for the site, and I've seen a lot of people grow while on here. Hell, I've grown myself while on this site. Many past friendships have been burnt, be it that they weren't who I thought they were, or we simply grew apart, but equally so I think I've made just as many friends for life on here. I don't really want to thank *everyone* I've ever met here, but I'm sure the people who I appreciate know who they are.
Although the site may have stagnated in activity significantly, I think it still preserves the old feeling of forums that a lot of us miss. I certainly do. Every now and then I'll go browsing and see if there's any other active ones, but seems not. Most of the active ones are usually tied to something bigger, like the osu! forums. I'm sure there's a bit of nostalgia that keeps me here, but I'm okay with that fact, even if I'm not really the most active member anymore.
I'm not leaving or anything like that. I'm also not exactly sure what point I'm trying to convey with this thread. I was just feeling a bit sentimental about the fact lol. I'll write about you guys in my autobiography or something.
