So this thread title actually has a double meaning. I decided to make this the thread where I post the final chapter of my Pacman
fanfiction I mean short story, I mean, well, more like novella... anyway...
This is also going to be my last thread on vizzed. (Not last post because I plan on replying to responses to this thread before I go.) I wanted to give everyone one last
update since I've been very present on the site for quite some time now. Last time I disappeared for a couple years, I didn't even post beforehand. So I thought I'd do that this time.
Here's that chapter of my story, and scroll down for the
update

Ghosts' Plan - A Pacman Story - Chapter 33- The Final Chapter
All seven ghosts met in the office at Silver and Bronze’s house. Blinky’s team was on the right side, and the other team was on the left side.
“We lost… again. But didn’t that feel amazing?” Pinky asked.
“Absolutely!” Inky agreed. “I never expected to be able to chase Pac-Man in a bigger and more challenging maze. That was a cool experience!”
“Even though we couldn’t see it, it sounded like it would be cool. But also kinda crazy,” Violet replied.
“Oh, it was super crazy for Greeny!” Silver laughed hard.
“He was scared out of his MIND,” Pinky giggled.
“Since when is Greeny scared of anything?” Blinky asked.
“I can’t believe those two Pac-Land construction workers made THAT behemoth maze,” Bronze said.
“I can’t believe Greeny left everything because of that,
too,” Silver said.
“Now that Greeny’s gone, won’t things be different for you guys?” Clyde wondered.
“I think so. We definitely want to hang out with your team a lot more, first off,” Bronze smiled, facing Blinky.
“Instead of pranks, we should do more missions,” Silver added.
“But you can’t be an effective team without a leader,” Blinky pointed out. “You should figure that out first.”
Silver and Bronze glanced at each other.
“Violet, we’ve missed your leadership,” Bronze began.
“With Greeny gone, you’d be limitless as a leader. You could help us become much better as a team and as friends to Blinky’s team. What do you think? Will you lead us from now on?”
Violet smiled wide. “Yes, that would be so much fun.”
“YES!!!” Silver and Bronze exclaimed.
“Congratulations,” Clyde said with excitement.
“Thanks. This will be quite the ride,” Violet commented.
“As Bronze suggested, I will make sure we see your team very often. Come visit whenever you want and we’ll visit plenty of times too.”
“We will. Come on guys I think it’s time to go home and get some rest,” Blinky told his team.
“See you soon!” Violet smiled.
------------------------------------------TRANSITION
So to recap... I've been registered on this site for almost 9 years. I joined when I was 12 and in middle school and started posting soon after that. Now I'm 21 and in my senior year of college.
Many great memories here! Throughout my time on the site, I've thoroughly enjoyed posting like a madman, making a ton of game reviews, and I even got to make my dream of winning a Tour de Vizzed come true! I didn't think I could win the overall red jersey since I wasn't a staff member, but I proved myself wrong by winning by 1 point.
When I "left" the site the first time, I was moving on to college. So much was going on, and I was satisfied with the great run I had on the site. All the memories I made and all the accomplishments.
In 2020, I was locked in my house just like everyone else. So I came back to vizzed. It served as a great way to cope with not being able to see anyone else for a while. And it was cool to see how the site had developed since then. My experience on the site felt new again, and I enjoyed a lot of the same things I did before!
After lockdown, I had a lot more to do again, and my activity on the site kept dropping. I kept convincing myself I was gonna pursue another dream of mine: reaching 10,000 posts! But that dream is a distant memory now. I've realized that it would take me YEARS more to reach that.
I'm about to graduate college soon. Just like last time, I want my graduation to serve as a great transition to take some things away and pick some new things up. I have a lot more going on in my life now. I BARELY play video games anymore (yeah, I know!) and I spend a lot of time writing, as you can see by my posts in the Stories forum. I keep finding more activities and passions to pursue, like drawing. I've always loved drawing, but now I'm committed to learning more about how to draw well.
Thank you all for the great memories here! I wasn't sure how much longer I'd be here since the lockdown is what brought me back. But the great community is what kept me here for an additional year. I hope you all are doing well. I know for me, I'm the happiest with my path in my life than I've ever been.
