I had some pending staff work to do from last week, and even though I haven't been feeling well at all today I set myself to do it. After all, it was starting to pile up quite badly so it needed some dedication.

Once I was finished, I had the impression it was indeed a big chunk of work. A quick check confirmed not only that, but also the fact I had surpassed 180k CP in total by barely a minimum.

What's special about that fact is that I was racing someone to that goal and become just the second user ever to do it. And I was racing none other than Davideo7 himself. Bit by bit I got closer to him in our race to 200k, and now before summer officially ends I've surpassed the Owner in the all-time list.

This is undoubtedly an incredible achievement, as David has put just so many many hours into this site during all the years CP have been accounted. Beating him to anything is really outstanding, and of course my efforts will now go to watching my back and keeping him at bay so my second place is safe.

Many people would start looking ahead now, but the gap is really immense with the all-time record holder. Of course it will be reduced over time, but it depends on how active real life will allow me to be because the journey ahead is long. For now, I'll enjoy that second step of the podium and see if some time from now I have any actual chances of rising up even further, because I won't walk away from the fight if I have even the tiniest of opportunities to come out victorious.


Davideo7 : I know you don't like to be summoned for nothing, but let me brag about this the right way xD Not bad to see two of your admins ahead of you in the standings, huh?

Because beating the Owner deserves a reply...

Congratulations! Like you said, that is quite an amazing achievement to beat the site owner in a milestone! I love that you couldn't resist summoning David to the thread XD

I've been trying to think of something to say besides just congrats! Your dedication to your work on here is just as impressive of anyone who's been on the site I wish you luck in the race to 200k before David!

Congrats, that's definitely a big achievement. If I'm not mistaken, when I hit 100K CP you were only at around 20K, so you definitely jumped a lot in such a short amount of time.

zanderlex : You are very mistaken, it's impossible we were that far away. I was probably around 60k by then, the jump is still great but what you assumed was just insane.

SonicOlmstead : I know the pain of thinking on something else to say, that's basically why I take my time to respond to my own threads, apparently the more replies I need to attend the easier words come to me xD

Pacman+Mariofan : Part of me was like "notice me senpai, this is why you promoted me" and part of me was like "sometimes you're also a member like any other and can thus be defeated!". Or something along the lines xD

EX Palen : This is something to be proud of and definitely worthy of a thread and summon. Even though most of what I do doesn't earn me CP, the things that did earn me CP took so many hours over the course of so many years so the fact that you did pass me should be evidence to everyone how much you do for the site.

SonicOlmstead : That is a complete coincidence. Hilarious though that it did work out that way. I don't have the time to keep up with him in CP anyway so I'd be more than happy to step aside so that he can put some cushion between him and I.
