I recently dug up my old GBA SP, so I’m looking to grab a few games for it after this whole Covid thing finishes up. I only own Pokémon Sapphire and Leaf Green at the moment, and I was wondering if anybody has some recommendations for games I could purchase which are high quality and fun, but don’t go for completely ridiculous prices today. Thanks!

I'd suggest Summon Night and Monster Rancher Advance 2, but a lot of the good GBA games are ridiculously overprice. It may be best to invest in a cartridge that just has like 200 of them in one.

The WarioWare games are really fun, if you've never heard of them before they basically throw a bunch of really fast minigames at you back to back and you have to survive them all

One of my other favorites is Super Monkey Ball Jr., a brutally hard 3D platformer where you're a monkey
in a ball
for some reason
because yes

I agree with Penny on Summon Knight Sword Craft story it is an amazing JPRG for the Gameboy and does really well with smooth battling and smoother story transitions. Plus there are so many routes in which you can change and edit the story.

I'm also a huge FF nerd so definitely go for Final fantasy 4 because it has the most versatility, in the sense of you can make whoever you want in your final party, and it has some post game shennanigans.

Also never forget Fire Emblem Sacred Stones!

I've not played a ton of it but from what I remember Sonic Advance was fun and doesn't go for that much so you could try that at some point and if you liked it theres always Advance 2 and 3.

To be honest I have a fondness for the Sega GBA releases, it was nice too see Sonic the Hedgehog for GBA, and Golden Axe part of the Sega Smash pack.

If you are into any RPG's, I'd strongly recommend Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. That game is massive, colorful, and it's even hilarious at times. The fights aren't too repetitive, and there is a lot to explore throughout the game!
