It's Spider-Man: Far From Home
When I learned that FFH was going to be the end to phase 4 and not Endgame, I didn't really get why. Then I saw it and realized that it was more of an epilogue to the Infinity Saga than anything else, and it did a great job at that.
I loved Far From Home so much. I loved how it was a huge contrast from Endgame and many of the other MCU movies. The tone went from being all serious and dramatic to upbeat and happy and I loved that. After the pure dread of Infinity War and Endgame, FFH was a pleasant change of scenery with romance and people just being people. I never thought I'd ever want that in a superhero movie so badly.
There were lots of things that made me really enjoy FFH aside for the atmosphere. For starters, I loved the acting by everyone, Peter, MJ, Happy, Aunt May, Brad, the teachers, Hill, Ned, and especially Beck. They were all great and their chemistry was great and they were able to bounce off each others performances easily. Hill and Fury, Peter and Ned, Happy and Aunt May, Peter and Beck, Ned and his girlfriend, Peter and MJ, every interaction just felt real.
I also really enjoyed the humor. When it comes to comedy, I enjoy Tom Holland's version of Peter way more than the other guys when it comes to comedy. It's a combination of great writers coming up with great humor and Holland naturally being insanely funny.
I also was a huge fan of the post credit scene for a number of reasons. Most of the time a post credit scene just teases a sequel or gives us a little extra content or humor. In FFH however, the post credit scene was a huge piece of plot and severely affects the future of the Tom Holland version of Spider-Man.
SPOILERS
In the post credit scene its revealed that Beck was filming his battle with Peter and his death but it was edited to make it look like Beck was the good guy and Peter Killed him for no reason. That alone is enough to make ths whole city turn against Spider-Man. But Beck took it a step further by revealing his identity. So going forward in the next Spider-Man film, so many people are going to hate Peter and be hostile towards him and will be a big factor in the plot going forward.
That's one of the reasons i loved the film so much because it played such a large role in the future of the franchise too, not just as a self contained movie with some Avengers references.
Overall, I thought it was great and my grade for Spider-Man: Far From Home is going to be a 92 out of 100.
