Cats out of the bag I guess? Some people might remember that around 3 years ago I brought up the idea of a Vizzed based trading card game, and some people liked it, so I've been working on a prototype ever since.

Minuano : brought up the idea of making Viz worth something again so I figured it was time to share this with the world because it's almost done, maybe just 2-3 months from being complete.

So this is the place where I'll be posting concept art of the cards now and then, and I'll start with 4 cards from the set. You can tell that 3 of the cards haven't been fully finished yet.

Davideo7 : We talked about this once years ago. Think something like this could become an actual feature when it's done so that people could buy/sell/trade cards/buy packs/show cards on their profile?

Omg this sounds legit like a really cool and an amazing idea, I would love this to become an actual feature and I am sure many other would too! D

Wow, I thought this project was dumped long ago. I am glad to find out that it is still alive and well. I can't wait for it to become complete and an actual thing on Vizzed. Nice work, keep it up zanderlex!

I have two suggestions. For starters, we need a bunch of users made into cards, I can ask for permission of individuals if you'd like. That way we can have booster packs you may buy with Viz.

Second, I think that the cards should all have unique backgrounds. Slyshi is a wonderful artist, you should see about commissioning some art from him. Honestly, I'd ask him to draw the entire image inside the card, so you don't have to use clip art. It would be amazing.

pennylessz : Right now there are drafts of 60-74 user cards, each has 3 levels of rarity (color)

Backgrounds are cool but if they don't have anything to do with the specific user, then it wouldn't really make senss

But doesn't almost every card game have unique backgrounds for just about every card? Even baseball cards have them.

I think I remember reading about this a couple years back but I got a few questions on how you would do it lol, first would you like update the user cards as people who have cards in the game leveled up or would you make new versions of them at a later point or are they always stuck at the same level, cause I know I myself would want to have a good card in the game eventually when I get myself high enough level but I guess that brings me to another question am I right to assume that levels of users are what determines how good a card is or can little old me at level 48 have a pretty good card if one is rare enough?

Sorry for so many questions, I just always thought this was a really cool idea and I wanna know how it would work. xD

SonicOlmstead : It would be like most trading card games, especially sports, there would be a new series every year or two.

The numbering might continue from the previous series though. If series 1 ends at card #74 series 2 might start at #75.

Or there could be variations. With baseball cards there are short prints. If one users level changes a lot, then the same card would be printed as a B. If Minuano grows 30 levels he would get a #5B.

There's a lot of stuff that changes stats. Post count word count, CP, LVL, etc. Beck SPD is based on how quickly the user does actions. For instance 100 posts in a day is fast posting. Plus discarding cards can drastically change stats.

Kind of curious how these stats are calculated and what they go by.

Honestly this seems like a pretty cool concept, I wouldn't mind a fun TCG since I'm into Yugioh and MtG and the such. Surprised nobody thought of it before, then again seems like a bit of a undertaking to get down and balance out. Can't wait to see what happens in the future for this personally.

I'd like to think that after being on this site for nearly 10 years i'd have earned something more fitting than "that guy who liked mlp over half a decade ago"

I mean i appreciate the sentiment that i came to mind to do a card, I genuinely mean that for reals.

I genuinely dislike the TdV and it's what my card is apparently centered about, even though there's other things I've done on here or said that more accurately represent myself than one inactive competition.

So yeah I feel that. Would be better if it wasn't just one person writing user bios, especially someone pretty disconnected with the majority of the user base throughout the years.

Furret :

Here's a few descriptions for free.

Furret - A big Survivor buff, who probably owns a Survivor buff. He used to think he was pretty funny, but changed his name to gain more respect. He also died in Mafia without playing it.

Sonicmcmuffin - Dry humor meets interesting fanhoods. Once an aspiring dodgeball player on the highest level of UK competition, he's become increasingly frustrated with his health. But the wit is still there.

ZeroTails - Once won a fair election to become the owner of the site on the Discord server. With her newfound power she vowed to destroy the site. Which she did! You aren't actually here!

LuckyCharms - A new poster who took the international posting competition, the Tour de Vizzed by storm. An aspiring new user with moxie and a desire to be the best, like no one ever was.

legacyme3 - The reigning lord of Innocent Town, a land of discord and chaos. He's ruled with an iron fist, and he's been a grapevine of knowledge for the site's owner. The only thing he hasn't done is learn to love.

legacyme3 : I've heard that most cards are already made and users who were not considered won't get a card unless they invest, so a couple of those may not exist.

I always thought that a top trumps Vizzed Users edition could be made quite easily. or even some sort of Heroes vs Villians type deal. Of course this site has had many good ideas but they've very rarely if ever developed into something.

Like most things in life and like this site a bit. People just won't help because they assume that a singular person should or would do it all. Heck sometimes it's self imposed too.
