One of my favorite cartoons from the early 2000's was Invader Zim. It had a lot of dark elements. The premise was an incompetent alien is banished to earth, where he thinks he's invading it. He ends up infiltrating a school, and is consistently thwarted by not only a genius kid, but also more often himself. This show ended up being pulled during its second season, because it wasn't SpongeBob, and didn't fit Nick's "image." But if you haven't tried it, I suggest you do. I still enjoy it as an adult.

Yep it was awesome. For more than a decade it was one of my 3 most favorite TV shows of all time. I really wish it could have gone on for longer. I have many of the new comic books from recently and I really enjoyed the new movie that came out a few months ago, it really felt like it could have been part of the original show.

I just wish there was more.

I was never really into invader zim personally although I can see why many people like it so much, it looks like a pretty great show not gonna lie. XD
