I grew up on the west oast in the US. Living next to a beach, we probably got around one inch of snow a year. Although this last year, I moved out east. Now whenever I step I need to worry about slipping into a snow bank, and my regular shoes are almost useless. I'd say we get a feet of snow fairly often.

I love feeling my legs freezing under my comfy pants, always great.

How much snow do you get, if any?

We get snow here but not enough. So far this winter we had one very light snowfall that was all melted after a couple hours. This is a huge contrast from just a decade ago. I remember in like 2010 to 2012 my high school ended up having like 2-3 snow days a year because of how much snow there was. Even my college closed a couple times because of snow. But for The last 2-3 years boots weren't even required.

Ohhhhh yeah we do. A nice nickname we call it here is Minnesnowta. My brother actually works for the state driving the plow trucks and putting down salt. It's nice to call him to ask him which roads are still kind or bad before I head out to work.

We don't really. We used to get like a handful of days during the winter but this winter I've barely seen any ice let alone snow.

Global warming and that you know?

Also y'all are pussies for getting "snow days" at school, our asses have to ride a bicycle through at least 7 inches when we do get some.

We don't really get much snow usually, maybe only a handful of times in the span of a few years potentially. We mostly get rain and maybe hail very rarely. Even when it does snow it never really settles for long so it's mostly just mush everywhere half of the time. Weirdly enough hail is much less common than snow I can only ever remember it happening a few times at the most although I could just be lucky.

It's been kind of a mild winter so far, however I think it's just starting up. We can get slower days with only 1-2 inches of snow but it wouldn't be unheard of for there to be 12 inches up in Pennsylvania.

I personally don't think snow is all that bad, it's the ice that really gets me. Especially when my balance is already messed up.

We just got like 8 inches yesterday and were in the winter stormnado. My brother drives snowplow for the state and got called in today on his day off to clean more up. The roads are just ice,it's like mario kart out there.

We finally had our 1st big snowfall of the year yesterday and it didn't even do much. I went out at around 6 PM and there was around 3 inches of snow and it was still snowing. But then today at around 1:30 PM it was all gone, literally looks like the snow all evaporated instantly.

We do! Only sometimes, though. I live in eastern Tennessee right next to the mountains, and the mountains almost always have at least a little snow on them during the Winter. It only snows in my area a few several times during the winter, mostly in January and February. We still haven't gotten a real big snow yet this Winter, but temperatures have been starting to drop again so here's hoping we get one soon.

It almost never snows on where I live, and note, I said "almost never". They have been a couple of rare times where we had snowfall, and the last time it snowed here was December 2017 where we only got like 3 inches of snow, and before that, it last snowed in 2014.

The reason why is that it's too warm where I live to be able to snow, and if we get like an extreme cold snap and we got precipitation at the same time, it could be snow.

We do, but it's not nearly as much as you might otherwise think.

Today, we had our second snow of the winter, it feels like, and it barely flurried. It never even stuck to the ground, even though it was cold enough that it wouldn't have melted on impact. Was the lightest snow I'd ever seen in my entire life.

There was actually a nasty snowstorm in my area a while back. At the beginning of winter season on my end, school was even closed for a day because of it. Besides the snow, temperatures are known to plummet to around -20°F to -30°F. Let that sink in for a moment. Things aren't looking too bad as I post, but the weather here is very inconsistent.

No, it doesn't snow in Alabama, unless it's really cold, and around this time of year. And even then, it's not enough to stick.
It's funny though, because if there are even suspicions of it snowing, the entire state shuts down like it's Armageddon. People drive worse than a drunk soriety girl, they freak out and buy up EVERYTHING from the store... it's the funniest stuff. I love the snow, especially since I grew up in areas where there was snow.

unfortunately we dont really get snow here. we are lucky to get more than 3 inches at a time if even that, and when we do our city shuts down because people panic. i love snow so it sucks, people always complain about having to shovel snow but i wouldnt honestly pay money to get the chance.

thing1 : as i know you're aware there was a recent issue between you an i when i made a very insulting comment towards you that i wont repeat but im sure you remember. you can find my appology for said incident at the bottom of this page: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=102726 to avoid future incidents, please read this post and make sure it is up to your standard and wont cause issues between the 2 of us.

We rarely get snow but when we do, it’s bad. Usually it comes around late December, early January but sometimes even early February depending how climate change wants to mess with Oklahoma that winter season. This seasoned it happened in January and it was kinda bad, with the snow piling up 6 inches I believe with a no view over a mile, roads so iced up cars were sliding

We have a crazy lack of balance with our weather because we either get a lot of snow during the winter and spring, or hardly any. We definitely get at least a few inches of snow a year. It even has snowed pretty recently, and it's almost May.

pennylessz : I get snow. That doesn't mean I like it though. I live up north. Not NORTH north, but higher up in New England, and we get a lot of snow every year during the winter months. It's quite beautiful to watch it but, what comes after isn't fun. Shoveling. I hate shoveling with a passion. Gotta do it though. I suppose it's good exercise at least. Trust me, those of you who don't get snow, I envy you.

Nope, no snow where I'm at. The heat of Miami will give a nasty heat death to any snow that even thinks about coming. Our winters are like a summer in NYC... so we'll never get the chance to see snow here.

I'd like to be able to see snow fall one day. I've seen it on the ground before from when I've traveled in late winter, but never it falling. Mostly because I don't travel in winter... too cold for me in most places. I become an icicle in lower than 60 weather.

It rarely snows where I live. I think it's been almost ten years since the last time it snowed here. When it does snow, it's usually at night, and the snow is all melted by around noon the next day.

I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina and it never snows here. Actually, it only happened once like 13 years ago, but it was for just one night. It was the first (and only) time I saw and touched snow.

We do have a lot of places where it snows regularly in my country though, but I've never been to those places. I hope one day I can spend my holidays there.
