Ever since I saw Far From Home, this was a question that I kept thinking about.

We know it happened about 8 months after Hulk Snap.

We know the school semester was right after mid terms when that snap took place.

So my best guess would be that Endgame took place in February 2023 while Far From Home took place in October 2023.

This is actually pretty important because going forward, every movie that's post Endgame has to take place in the future. Every director will have to remember that their movie doesn't take place in the present and also has to make their setting seem like it takes place in the future. ie: More technology, etc.

What are your thoughts?

i dont think its an issue going forward at all. the only thing they have to remember to do is put 2023 in the date.

the tech in the movies has always been far ahead of our real time technology even when the movies were set in the past, so i dont think keeping it futuristic is an issue.

secondly if they wanted to keep it in line with realistic technology it still wouldnt be an issue, during the 5 years of the snap everyone stayed depressed, i doubt many technological advances were made with half the workforce left. so thier tech wouldnt be that far off from ours meaning they could still use our normal current tech without issue.

and finally they dont even have to have movies set after the snap, if they want to they could start having movies set during different times. maybe a movie about what hulk was doing before thor found him, or one of caps lost adventures.

i dont think the time gap will even be noticeable really, and if it is im sure marvel can handle it.

drag00n365 : "the only thing they have to remember to do is put 2023 in the date."

That could be a problem since every movie has a different director. It might be easy to slip by a director and it might be even harder for future movies that aren't out for a while.

Each director/writer/editor will have to do the math themselves. Until Endgame, almost all MCU movies took place the year they were released.

But not each movie is going to affect the date becauss it's not going to be 2023 in each movie. Maybe Doctor Strange 2 takes place a year after Far From Home and then Ant Man 3 takes place a year after that.

The Spider-Man 3 team would have to backtrack through the movies between them and add up how much time passed.

It might even be harder now with the Fox characters coming in.
