....I don't understand how or why but I find Aquaman actually entertaining and was a joy to watch it's funny somehow DC managed to take two of the most iconic comic book characters ever (batman and superman) and produce a movie that was complete and utter trash but yet somehow managed to make Aquaman (which previously was known as the butt of everyones joke ) the worst and impractical member of the orginal justice league into a profitable and enjoyable movie adaption. I can honestly say Aquaman is the best DC live action movie to date, interesting plot, action character and story development,  perfect balance of suspense, action and comedy,  not to mention visually stunning effects...this is a well done movie DC but I just can't wrap my mind around how Aquaman can have this good of a movie but everything else thats been put out live action wise is complete trash 

Divine Aurora : Probably because your expectations were lower due to the Internets constant mocking of aquaman perhaps?

I've heard from several people that it's a decent film honestly. 

I would guess that the people just had fun making the movie and probably unlike DC's major flagship heroes films they didn't have nearly as many restrictions on what they could or couldn't do. 

Cooperate executives ruin a lot of good things whether they be in film or in gaming! For them it's solely about money and their insight is lacking of any knowledge of the material their working with.  

Considering most of the world is covered in water we'll agree to disagree on the most impractical. In the comics he's just barely lower than Supes on invuln and strength. Sometimes he's gone to the severe super greenpeace side like Thor has also done a few times. Literally only reason Aquaman is a joke was the old superfriends cartoons and his Marvel equal is Namor whose gone toe to toe against the fantastic four as a villan.

That said yes they screwed up two of the three trinity in the cinematic.

LadyWizard : Well to be fair, most of humanity lives off the water, but no one will overtake Aquaman on his niche. Crime happens in the ocean, sometimes a kracken chucks whales out of the water just for kicks!

There seems to be a weird level of exchange here, I would say Marvel is like that too, since Guardians of the Galaxy of all things is my favorite movie, but then again Dr. Strange was the most generic Marvel movie coated under visual effects. Of course, every corporation works differently. Perhaps the Scarlet Skier movie will be the biggest hit of the year. The seventh biggest hit of the year that year.

What really? Okay, I'll be honest here. I secretly really like The Death of Superman. But I'm not sure that makes me a DC fan. Aquaman is such a pathetic superhero. I thought his movie would surely be as awful as him.
