Hi. I'm applying for a Content Writer since I've done over 100 reviews on this site, for games on site and current consoles. Honestly this is where my contributions would be, filling in more reviews rather than articles and guides - but I don't think I have enough experience on site to apply for Review Manager. My content rate did drop after going over 100, but the reasons for that have been removed.

I've been on the site for a long while now and I've been wanting to contribute. Looks like now is a better time than any to apply!

I'd like to apply to be the Video Game Character Manager position.
It doesn't look like anyone has applied for this yet which is odd. Characters in video games are the most important part of the games.
When it comes to backstories and lore of video games and their inhabitants, I've always enjoyed delving into that.
I'm willing and able to look through characters for discrepancies, add or change characters/franchises depending on developments to them, and definitely write biographies for characters. I think a majority of my brain space is wasted on video game lore, might as well put it to good use.

I would like to apply for the Pokemon Go Manager and Emulation Manager positions.

Although it was a while ago, I did work as a game tester and really enjoyed it. I wish I could've continued doing it for longer, but life was much busier and more demanding of me then than it is now. I've acclimated since then though, and would be able to keep the position for longer. The RGR plugin still works well for me, so that wouldn't pose a problem. All things considered, I would be delighted to work as an Emulation Manager and test RGR games again.

As someone that frequently plays Pokemon Go and keeps up with its new features and content, I would definitely be up to the task of updating all the directory information and listing new content and features added to the game shortly after their release. 

I'd be more than willing to accept one or both positions if necessary (I'd be ecstatic to have both though). Thank you for taking the time to consider me. I wish everyone the best.

I would like to apply for Emulation Manager & Tech Support.

The main reason I'm applying for Tech Support is that I currently work as a Java & Python programming (Computer Science) Tutor in real life, which aligns with the goals of the Tech Support position of software assistance. In addition, the troubleshooting skills needed for my career as a software engineer aligns with the goals of the Emulation Manager position.

My solution was added to all RGR pages by Davideo7, which is shown in his response to my thread. Here is another example in which I helped a user figure out how to use the mouse as a controller with the RGR plugin, which is uncommon to work (with the RGR plugin) yet I figured out how to get it to work for that user: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=98094
(I have many other posts in the RGR forum where I helped users, but these are the best 2 examples I thought of) Thus, I think I'm capable of helping out users with RGR issues as well as troubleshooting/configuring RGR settings.

I got a DOS system to work on the RGR plugin while I was site staff as a "MESS Researcher & Configurator". It boots up into the console and can execute commands, which can be found in the thread titled "RGR Plugin MESS Research" in the site staff forum, or my post here: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=94126&pl=1296095
(Note: I don't have access to that post I linked so please PM me if it's an incorrect post or if the DOS system no longer works. I found the URL based on old notes I took as site staff. If it doesn't work anymore, I'm happy to fix it to prove it is legit. I can fix it as an elite, if needed.)

The only problem is that this specific DOS system has a somewhat weak processor that may not be capable of running many games, but the fact that it boots into the console and can execute commands is a huge step towards adding DOS to the RGR.

In that same MESS research thread, site staff+ can notice that I got several other new game systems to work, which were not added to the RGR (yet) but can be added without updating the RGR plugin, which would save Davideo7 money since new RGR plugin updates might be expensive. (Just add the game page, upload the ROM, and use the same settings I posted in the MESS research thread).

Since I was able to get many new game systems to work with the RGR plugin, it should be an even easier job for me to track issues with current systems and configure settings to keep them up & running, while also potentially adding many new systems/games to the RGR without having to update the plugin (I've also added 273 game pages to the VGR while I was staff). Thus, this is why I feel I could qualify for the Emulation Manager position.

I have been site staff many times before, once as a Game Reviewer, twice as a Miscellaneous System Manager, and once as a MESS Researcher and Configurator. I have also achieved elite status from being a Game Reviewer. Although my past Game Reviewer and Miscellaneous System Manager roles would make me qualify for other roles such as System Manager, content writer, content adder, and Game review manager, I am going to be completely honest that I should not go for these roles because I may not have the time for those kinds of roles. I may not have been the most active user before, which is why I'm being honest that I shouldn't go for those other roles.

However, I am very confident that I will be more than active enough for Tech Support and Emulation Manager because it almost reflects my real-life priority of assisting others with software and troubleshooting, which is what I do as a Computer Science Tutor and Researcher in real life. Thus, the true motivation for me is there to ensure I meet all quotas and requirements for those 2 staff roles on Vizzed.

Hi! I would like to apply to continue to work as a Site Staff member with the roles of Screenshot Adder and Video Game Character Manager.

Screenshot Adder:

- My spelling, grammar and vocabulary should be sufficient for filling in the appropriate descriptions for every screenshot.

- In addition to English, I understand a few other languages, which allows me to create detailed descriptions when uploading screenshots for some games that may not have English translations yet.

- In the around 1,500 days that I have been on Vizzed, I have accumulated a total of over 20,000 screenshots, some for the screenshot competitions and most out of interest and love for games, stories and pictures. I have a history of taking a minimum of 2,000 unique screenshots each month for every game I play, and a simple term to describe me would probably be “Special Items Hunter/Collector.” When playing games, I tend to prioritize the acquisition of fun and interesting screenshots and the recording of special moments. In real life, I tend to categorize, sort, and organize all of my screenshots and photos before I upload or show them to anyone. My love for photos/pictures and uploading only what I consider to be the best possible variations of each extends to Vizzed screenshots as well.

Video Game Character Manager:

- In the around 1,500 days that I have been on Vizzed, I have added over 8,000 characters and added and edited the information for many video game characters. Often, when I am adding characters, I also try to add screenshots of the characters even though that is not a requirement. In addition, I use my ability to verify and obtain information from the official/source pages in other languages to ensure that the information I am adding is as accurate as possible.

Contributing to Vizzed and its community has been one of my top goals since I first joined Vizzed, so I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue to do my best to help Vizzed as a Site Staff member with the roles of Screenshot Adder and Video Game Character Manager. Hello, I'm back and I would also like to apply for a couple different positions namely...

Video Game Review: I've been writing gaming reviews since I first joined the site and since then I can definitely say the content I use keeps getting better and better the more I keep writing, also an excuse to brag about all the new games that I've worked on with some companies so I can you guys to then purchase and play them yourselves haha. I've always loved writing about games I love, hate, and I'm just neutral with. I don't like to provide concrete "You should or shouldn't play this", but I prefer to give overviews and thoughts to the certain aspects of the game's design that made it likeable for me and how that could affect you the new player, and how it works for the game or makes the game drop in that aspect maybe making it more likeable for you. I've submitted many reviews on this site, couple or them have been featured, and if you do compare my older ones to my newer ones you can see how much my writing has improved and will keep improving thus helping me create better content for those willing to read. I want to give people a reason for choosing a game, and give them a little insight to make their interest stronger. This is a highly wanted position but I can promise you I won't fail at this and I really do think this is my only talent. 

Minecraft Server Admin: I've loved the MC server every since it first came in, I think I have like plots of land on every place, and I've always had fun and tried to be as respectful as possible to everyone there. I always put effort when a new thing was added in to help test or try it out with eveyrone else, like being the first few players to tp to the new worlds and maps. Trying out all the Devil's Nightmares, everything and anything anyone wanted help or assistance with I was there. I want to bring that kind of fun playing experience that I had to everyone player who joins the server as well. 

Screenshot manager: Though I don't know the entire specifics or exact quota I'd also like to try this position out, lately I've increased my library or games, now learning japanese I've been playing games that weren't released in europe or america, so I've been recording and screenshooting everything I find interesting in those games. And having at it, I love capturing the perfect moment a character does something stupid or weird, or find a glitch every now and then so I can show people the fun experience these games can produce as well as just showing information like a characters profile on who they are or their stat menu. It's a fun thing and I encourage everyone to take screenshots or videos just for fun to get into the habit and create memories.

I would like to reapply for Video Game Music Manager. I've uploaded over 1,100 tracks, removed more than 250, made more than 2,500 edits and rated more than 1,700 times, and I generally like the job. I previously hit burnout with it as it started getting harder to find the information I needed to edit in and the quota was a tad demanding with the connection issues I was experiencing. I'm not sure what the quota is now, but I'd like to give it another go.
