I've been trying to play games on Vizzed like normal, and I just started getting a message telling me the Vizzed flash plugin creation has failed. I'm also getting another message saying there is a security error and that the Vizzed service connection is lost. I don't know if my antivirus is blocking it or if there is some setting in Chrome I can change. I'm using Avast antivirus, and I'm out of ideas. I've seen other threads about this, but I'm not finding a solution.

I have avast antivirus too and I tested it on Google Chrome. The game loaded just fine, so I think it might be your computer. Or you somehow turned on hardware acceleration, which needs to be turned off for certain games to work.

Avast is a bit strange.
Sometimes it will allow the plugin to run without problems, and sometimes it won't...
For example, on my laptop, it runs fine without having to change anything. On my desktop, I had to add exceptions for it to run.
Add exclusions for:
File Paths

(Sorry, has to be an image... the slashes are getting removed)
URLs

I got it to work again by re-installing the plugin. I don't know how that affected it or why it kept working earlier. I remember the game I was playing just crashed, then my Avast anit-virus popped up. After that I kept getting the security error, later that night I decided to re-install the RGR plugin, and I was able to keep playing. Since then, I've had no more issues, but I still wonder what changed.

I just had the same problem again, and it basically froze Chrome. I switched over to Firefox, and I can get the games to work with that browser. In Chrome, it is telling me that the plugin is not found. I'm using version 2.41, and the message is telling me that 2.40 was the version that started utilizing flash in Google Chrome. I noticed the problem I'm having is related to Chrome and Flash. I have flash enabled in Chrome, I don't know what the deal is. Hopefully, I can still play games with Firefox, but there definatley seems to be an issue with using the plugin in Chrome for me.

Edit: Now, it just decided to work in Chrome again! What, does it just decide to work when it feels like it? I don't know what could be doing this, and I don't feel right about disabling anything in Avast. Especially, when that may not even be what's causing the problems. I also don't know how long it's going to be before Firefox starts giving me the security error again because it was doing the same thing Chrome was doing before I re-installed the plugin.

I wouldn't say to disable Avast completely either, but just add exceptions for the vizzed plugin files.

Yeah, I added the exclusions last night. I'm hoping that will fix the problems I've been having permanently. If it doesn't I don't know what else to do. So far, it seems like it will work fine and other times it won't. Hopefully, after excluding those two file paths the plugin will run without anymore issues.

I haven't had any problems yet. I'm going to test it out today and see how things go. Last time, I uninstalled the plugin and re-installed it I got the games to play without any issues for a few days until it started crashing again. I hope adding the exclusions is a permanent fix, and there aren't anymore major issues like before.

Just try a different browser... either Opera or Firefox, & last resort Chrome.

I had the same problem in Firefox before I re-installed the plugin. Somehow uninstalling and re-installing it changed something. I added exclusions to Avast, unchecked Hardware Accelerator in Chrome, and updated Adobe flash. So far I haven't had anymore issues, but I'm still in the testing phase. We'll see how things play out in the next week or two depending on how much time I get to play.

I haven't been on vizzed much for a while, but now I am having issues playing any games, even trying to use the Play my Games thing. None of it works. The screen pops up but it stays black and does nothing, no sound or visuals. Chrome is telling me to get flash, but it is only giving me flash for youtube, so I am not sure how to make it work on Chrome, but Firefox won't work either. I just wanted to play a game... yet nothing I do is working, help please.

It sounds like Chrome could be blocking flash from running on Vizzed. You have to allow it to run on this website. In order to do that go to chrome://settings/content, scroll down to flash, click on the arrow, add www.vizzed.com to the list of sites to allow. That could be one of the things that might be blocking the plugin. Or it could be your antivirus software. I added exclusions for file paths: C:/Program Files(x86)/Vizzed* and C:/ProgramData/Vizzed* in Avast. I haven't had anymore problems since then, but I haven't been playing today. You could also try reinstalling the plugin, but for me I believe it was my antivirus software that was causing problems. I searched Google on how to allow sites to run flash in Chrome for more detailed instructions. Same with adding exclusions for antivirus software.

For some reason Avast still keeps giving me problems even after adding the exclusions. I'm going to try playing the games in Firefox, and if that doesn't work, I'll have to re-install the plugin and try again. One time Avast tried to act like the file path for the plugin was infected with a virus! Avast looks like it is definitely the problem, and I don't know what else to do. I hate having to re-install the RGR plugin every time this happens.
