| Final Fantasy VII for the Nintendo NES is a remake of Final Fantasy 7 but for the Nintendo NES. Originally it was only available in Chinese (and very hard to find) but now it has been translated into English and is only available here! Play Final Fantasy 7 NES English Remake Online Now (you can only play it using the Vizzed RGR Plugin) Anyway, I'm going to work on playing this game thru and recording game play and taking snapshots in the process. | interesting find. some more information on this can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_VII_(Famicom) Just a change, Final Fantasy VII is a Chinese unofficial, unlicensed, remake of Final Fantasy VII, not Japanese, Davido7  EDIT: with a little furthur research into the company that made it, ShenZhen Nanjing Technology, i have found they have made a few more games like this, like Chrono Trigger for the nes. whether or not any of these other (unofficial) remakes were finished, im still looking into  (edited by DarkHyren on 02-13-09 11:08 PM) |

| I don't think they made it but I also have Resident Evil for the NES which I tried to record my gameplay here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLrjOGW3gP8 (that's part 1 or 2) it kept freezing up on me though. |

| VirtuaNES, the one provided with the download. My issue is mainly that it looks like this: http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u318/rocksome/virtuaNES.png Like I said, I can figure out how to load it from that, but nothing else. I also mashed all the keys and couldn't get anything to do much except save states, load states, pause, etc. |

Also, in the zip file I did include instructions of how to get stuff to work, which I said look at the button layout of the english VirtualNES and the button layout is in the same exact positions as the japanese version. | |||

| Bah, I downloaded the English version and now when I click to change the controls... nothing happens. T_T The same results for everything in the options menu. I wish every emulator were as simple as ZSNES. :\ edit: Wait, no... this one works. Haha. It responds to my random key-pressings much better. Though still I can't change any of the options... | Is this the most recent translation? Which would be the "97% patch" released in December 2008? Because I have that patch, so if you need it, let me know. (Btw, the game is an unlicensed, unofficial, CHINESE remake, so it wasn't "originally in Japanese" like your description says up top.)
