a good port of final fight but lacking a lot of features
Let me explain why The Super nintendo port of final fight lacks some features. 1st feature its lacking character by the name of guy while hes not the strongest character in the game its ashame hes not in this port. 2nd feature it lacks the mutilplayer or co/op mode. that The Arcade version had. 3rd feature it lacks stage intros for example a character by the name of Damnd yes thats the characters name . hes trying to trap guy and his friends in by putting a bunch of barrels blocking there way. they use a special move to break all barrels. So the Super Nintendo Version Lack stage intros like that one.4th feature it lacks The Industral stage were you would usually fight Relento. believe this or not you can play as guy. But you need to purchase a sold seperately final fight guy game. Were Capcom Replaced Cody with guy thats it.
Alright lets start this review now
as i said it lacks features like guy intros stages . everything looks almost like the arcade but the two girl characters Roxy and Posion got replaced with other characters by the name of Sid and Billy. Graphics are still sharp crisp and colorful . So it gets a 6 .Its really missing a whole lot of stuff. Capcom Even changed the character Photo next to the life bar.
most sound effects are here but they changed one sound effect .for example when you kill an enemy in final fight The Arcade verison . it usually goes uggh. in the Super Nintendo version it now goes. ulaah. Soundtrack the Soundtrack is almost arcade perfect but it sounds a little beefy cunky and softened out . Sort of Like street fighter 2 were it has a more beefy cunky soundtrack. Sound gets a 8 really good sound variety .
Addictiveness its the gameplay that makes it fun Even though the Super Nintendo verison Lacks a lot of features its the main difficulty and challenge of the game that makes it fun today. Addictiveness Gets a 7
Story its the same Thing as the arcade version . The Mad Gear has taken jessica . And Threaten to kill her if Mayor Mike haggar didnt join them, But it still lacks guy. i still like the story line though gets a 7 a decent story line that follows up with the game perfectly
Depth really it has less characters on screen and a level intro and a whole lot of stuff missing . so Depth gets a 6 again only reason is the difficulty . is why it takes so long to beat
Difficulty you have about 3 or 4 options Sense there are less characters the game is a bit easier . than the arcade but still challenging .
Controls work well as expected. Difficulty gets a 7 slighty easier than the arcade version
One thing i hated about this version is when you die you dont continue were you left off . you have to start from the beginning . It really fustrates me from time to time
Overall its A good Port of final fight even though its missing a lot of stuff it gets a 8.5 .still a decent game and enjoyable game .Although its missing alot of features.
Graphics 6 Sound 8 Addictive 7 Depth 6 Story 7 Difficulty 7
