This is one of the hardest sonic hacked games I ever played in my life!!!! Everything is the same just like the original Sonic the Hedgehog except that there are NO normal rings and there are LOTS of moving red rings of DEATH!!! Difficulty: 10 This game is impossible! It is impossible to even complete one level! In this hack, once you touch a red ring or even go near the red rings you will lose a life!!! and there are no normal rings so if you touch a badnik you will also lose a life easily. Each level is full of red rings of death and they move in such a strange and scary manner! 

Graphics: 9

This hack has the same exact graphics as the original Sonic the Hedgehog but the red rings look pretty scary alright!

Sound: 9

There is no change in sound. It is the same exact thing just like the original Sonic the Hedgehog.

Addictiveness: 6

Well, this game is somewhat addictive due to it's high difficulty. It makes you just want to try this game again and again and just try to complete at least one level! but this game is just impossible to even complete one level! 

Story: 6

Same thing just like the original Sonic the Hedgehog except that there are red rings of death that stand in your way! 

Depth: 7

Same depth just like the original Sonic the Hedgehog except once again for those red rings of death.

Overall: 4 

So the rating is pretty low because I honestly see no point in playing a game that is too hard. You can't even beat one level to begin with, But the interesting thing is that. . . . .  

Will anyone be able to complete this very challenging game or at least complete 2 levels?

Well who'd have thought rings could actually be harmful if touched. These bouncing red rings certainly are. What's worse, they will replace all normal rings and monitors in each level, except for bonus levels. So Sonic has to watch his step and not juice so fast. One touch will result in the loss of a life. Basically complete the entire Sonic 1 game (otherwise mostly unedited) without touching any red ring, which in itself is impossible, as some levels, particularly the Spring Yard levels, can' t be completed without touching a red ring. Its one of the harder hacks of Sonic on Vizzed, possibly due to the speed the rings bounce and the fact Sonic has to time his runs perfectly to avoid being struck, not to mention the lack of actual rings in the game. At the end of a level, after passing the signpost, an illegal instruction error will appear. Fortunately that is easily fixed by rapid pressing of the C button. But as has already been described, level select will be needed to get past some levels on this hack, so the full game cant be completed. Definitely a hard hack, personally its a Sonic 1 hack on expert difficulty mode. Be fast and very wary.

In this hack, all the rings and monitors are replaced by bouncing red rings. Touch one of them and you get killed. It is, most probably, impossible to complete SYZ 1 and SYZ 3, which means you'll need level select to get around them. The game "crashes" after touching the end-of-level-signpost giving an Illegal Instruction error, but you can fix this by rapidly pressing the C button until the score tally shows up. Level Select is accessed by pressing at the title screen Up, Down, Left, Right. You should hear a noise like a ring being collected. Then, hold A and press Start.
