Well who'd have thought rings could actually be harmful if touched. These bouncing red rings certainly are. What's worse, they will replace all normal rings and monitors in each level, except for bonus levels. So Sonic has to watch his step and not juice so fast. One touch will result in the loss of a life. Basically complete the entire Sonic 1 game (otherwise mostly unedited) without touching any red ring, which in itself is impossible, as some levels, particularly the Spring Yard levels, can' t be completed without touching a red ring. Its one of the harder hacks of Sonic on Vizzed, possibly due to the speed the rings bounce and the fact Sonic has to time his runs perfectly to avoid being struck, not to mention the lack of actual rings in the game. At the end of a level, after passing the signpost, an illegal instruction error will appear. Fortunately that is easily fixed by rapid pressing of the C button. But as has already been described, level select will be needed to get past some levels on this hack, so the full game cant be completed. Definitely a hard hack, personally its a Sonic 1 hack on expert difficulty mode. Be fast and very wary.
