What's more fun than watching cartoons? Actually starring in one! Each level features a different character starring in its own "mini-cartoon", with plots, obstacles, traps and surprises designed especially for each one. You'll actually become Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, the Tasmanian Devil, Road Runner and more as you race to save the world against some very familiar enemies, and a few new diabolical menaces you may never forget! You'll have to master each character's special talents to cross deserts, swim the deepest oceans, fly through the air and creep your way through a haunted mansion filled with totally gruesome ghosts and goblins! There's only one way to describe this awesome action: Totally Looney!
Originally released on the original Game Boy by Sun Soft in 1992 and then again on the Game Boy Color 7 years later Looney Tunes is an action platform game. So what do i think of the game? Well let's take a look at the seven different points we have to look at. Graphics 9: The graphics, while not perfect, are not that bad to look at. Each character looks like their animated counterpart. The stages themselves are pretty detailed and are a joy to look at as you go through the game. Even the enemies themselves are pretty well detailed. Sound 9: T sound, like the graphics, is not perfect. Its not bad to listen to for the game. But outside of the game none of the music will stick with you. Addictiveness 3: I ended up putting the addictiveness of game pretty low. Though not a bad game I felt it was to easy to go through and therefore it doesn't leave itself open for a lot of replay value at all. Story 0: There is no story at all. Seriously there isn't. Prior to writing this review it was hard finding any information on this game. Like I mean zero. Depth 2: The game doesn't offer much in the way of depth. It isn't that big, nor does it take long to beat either. It also doesn't have a lot to offer either. Difficulty 1: The game is very easy to go through. Throughout my entire play through I only died once. Aside from that I managed to beat the game in about an hour. As I said its very easy to go through. Overall 2.1: I gave the game an overall rating of 2.1. While i did say at certain points in this review the game was fun to play, and it was, overall it just felt like a chore to sit and play through. It isn't a game that i am likely to play again anytime soon. Final Thoughts: The game comes off as a cheap cash-in on the franchise at times. Other than that its not a bad game to play. Its not a good game either. Not really a game I am willing to play again anytime soon in the near future. Which is a disappointment cause I love the Looney Tunes. From a personnel standpoint I can't recommend the game. Even if your a die hard fan I would recommend staying far away from this game.
