I'm not gonna post the exact image of the post I made on Instagram due to language, but I'll just retype (and reword) what I basically said on my latest Instagram post.

"Ever since graduation, only one good thing has happened, and everything else is an endless parade of hell.

Friends of mine online are calling me (removing crude and unwanted language here) behind my back.

A friend of mine informed me that someone claimed to have my nudes and bragged about it.

My request to follow a friend of mine has been ignored four times, yet I'm told I'm their friend.

Really? Grow up. What happened to being mature friends?"

It's been less than a week since I graduated, and somehow, I'm beginning to learn exactly who are my true friends. I thought I have dealt with this moral a few times before, but nope. I have to learn it again because everything going on is absolutely ridiculous. 

Seriously, I'm done. I'm not staying friends with people who are going to constantly tell me they're my friend and they'll respect me or care for me, only to say or do some sort of crap related to me behind my back.

Yeah, I'm very bitter now, so sorry for this thread being really negative. (I did make sure to edit out unwanted bad language. My original post had them.)

I'm really sorry that so much bad has been happening to you. I'm sure that this won't be forever. I've been through stuff like this before, only not quite as bad as you have it. :V I hope things start getting better for you soon.

I'll tell you what happened to mature friends they're old grandpa's/grandmas now or have already passed on. Mean seriously is almost like 1 in every 1000 (maybe even 10,000) people these days can be mature about things and actually stay true to their words. Many friend you have now in schools will ditch you like a wildfire for their own needs/their own futures/their own lifestyles. A lot more people also focus on the quantity of friends instead of the quality of friends you could be having since who the heck wants 1 good friend you can always rely on/talk to when you could have 100 friends whom will always comment on your instagram yet never seem to care what's going on with you.

There still are some positive and mature teenagers/adults these days but farther and fewer than we'd have seen in years prior. Especially when see all news/events with riots/beatings/shootings/online attacking or bashing/etc, it's not wonder our generation is so piss-poor in eyes of people.  Sometimes the people you're closest to are always the one whom will leave you at drop of a hat and/or stab you in the back for their own desires. Whether online or in person sometimes you have to let things happne to see whom you truly "need" in your life, and it's not people like this.

Stay strong and know while it may be hard to trust anyone with what they may say/do, at least trust those that you can see actually do interact and show desire to be around you. Am sure there'll always be at least 2 people on here that will actually be a true friend to you. At least I hope I'll always be one of them. Good for you for at least moving past it and not letting get to you too much. Some people are like garbage, sooner or later you're gonna have to take it out of your life. 

Sadly, no matter what time it is in your life, friends come and go. For the longest time I kept trying to figure out how to prevent friends from leaving me, but then I realized it isn't at all in my control.

I think about half the friends I've made are now either too busy for me or just won't talk to me. People become friends with each other because of common characteristics they share. But then once they find out each other's flaws and personal problems, they part ways. It drives me crazy but it's impossible to avoid unless you just don't talk to anyone. I would never suggest going down that route, though.

Be a loyal friend to those that are there for you, and if people aren't there for you, you could kindly let them know what's bothering you.

It's more people are saying they're my friends, but then they do things behind my back, like calling me nasty names, or being nasty about something they don't agree with me with without actually talking to me, or (and I just found out about this gem last night) lying to others and claiming I have sent them hot pictures and bragged about it. 

Yeah, I have many friends come and go, and when it's the case that we drift apart, then I don't really care. The point in my Instagram post is that the last 6 days, I'm finding out that some friends are calling me bad names, constantly trashtalking me, or are just saying they are my friend but one way or another block me on social media sites without actually telling me if I've done anything wrong. 

Sorry, I was going to get into that but I'm not sure what happened.

Like sonic57 was saying, loyal friends are hard to come by. And sometimes, they aren't doing things behind your back or insulting you completely to harm you. But instead they're doing it to make themselves feel better or to gain more support from others who do the same thin

Also, I've had the same problem with friends blocking me on social media without stating a reason.

You can view this one of two ways, aria:
1. You can look at it as a negative occurrence. Losing friends and suffering emotional difficulties is hard, so that would make sense.

2. You can look at this as a positive experience in that it will yield great things in your life if allowed. By that I mean, yeah your friends are mistreating you, but you're being saved from fake friends. This whole thing is quickly whittling away pretenders, and in the end you'll be left with your true friends. So maybe send out a big thank you to all of the haters who never understood what they were saying when they called themselves your friend, for helping rid you of the headache of their lack of constancy sooner rather than later.


I've been really listening to an old song a lot lately, and it means so much more to me now than it ever did before. The song is "Changing World" by Kutless. I think the chorus should prove relatable to your situation: "My life is not what I thought. I'm not where I planned to be. Though something's gone, there's nothing wrong with my changing world." When people turn on you, your life can only improve because any loss of a jerk is a good gain.

Trouble is funny like that: it always separates the friends from the fakes. Those of us with you still, we're the friends. We're not going anywhere (take that as a good or bad thing xD ). So yeah, don't let the fakes get you down. They don't deserve the joy, and they sure don't deserve to have that power and control over you. Say good riddance and love your real friends for what they are: your chosen family.
