Coming from the Super Nintendo, this was a good game.  It is made up of different parts area maps which have multiple levels.  It also offers tips in the form of Cranky Kong.  There are many opportunities to discover hidden areas as well.  The story line is your basic, save the world you love from the evil that threatens it.  Graphics are decent considering the age of the game, the same goes for the sound quality as well.  The most annoying part about the game was having to decide whether you need to use Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong to make a jump.  If you make the wrong decision and use Donkey Kong, you fall to your death causing you to re spawn in the game.  Then there are instances where even when you choose the right Kong to make the jump, something ends up hitting you or some other odd glitch will happen and you, again, fall to your death!  After about the 20th time trying to make a jump, it makes you want to throw your control at your television!  The boss is pretty easy to defeat once you catch on to his pattern, which only takes maybe two or three tries.  
Overall, it is a good game to pass the time.  

Nice job covering most of the categories (graphics, sound, etc)! Some advice I'll give you for making a very solid game review is to go into detail about what stands out about each category, or what makes it deserve the rating you gave it from 1-10.

I don't want to pile on the criticism but I think a big opportunity was missed here.

Donkey Kong Country is arguably one of the Top 10 best SNES games of all time.  The beauty of it, both visually and musically, are enchanting.  You have music that matches the area, be you underwater or in the arctic frozen zone.  The game play is simple to grasp but the timing and the skills required take practice and effort.  The storyline is underwhelming but the rest of the game's plot development, secrets, styles, and enemies and allies are a wonder to behold.

I will never think of the minecart maps without throwing a controller in frustration.  It makes people angry and games that invest a person's very soul are good games.

This was an okay review but nothing great. The way you structured it is strange and is difficult to read and you go in to no depth on anything really but how frustrating it is to make a jump. You also need to be more specific in my opinion. What boss is easy to beat once you catch on? You just say "the boss". Your ratings do not even reflect how you thought the game was overall. What made you change your mind exactly? It might seem I am bashing on your review but you gotta add some detail to things besides minor problems. 48% of your review is talking about how frustrating it is to make jumps. Would that summarize half of the game to you? You just focus too much on things that do not need to be focused on and do not focus on things that do need focused on.

Do not get offended by any of this. Just use it to improve for next time.
