Hi friends!
I've just finished Minish Cap on GBA. I'm looking for a new game to try, but I'm kind of sick of the old hack and slash format...
Are there any games that are simply adventure games (like the Lucas film or Sierra ones) which aren't about battling?

The GBA didn't have much like that, but I can think of one game that counts as an adventure game while not being combat-focused. Mostly focused on exploration (though minimal) with some puzzles too (though also minimal)

Try Hamtaro - Ham-Ham Heartbreak

It's a bit kiddish and not really something adults would be interested in, and the gameplay is a bit shallow, but it's the only thing I can think of.

What would you suggest that has a balance of adventure -exploration, interaction with NPCs etc - and combat?
I've seen Final Fantasy, Mario and Luigi Superstar, Golden Sun suggested, are any of these worth trying?

The Golden Sun games are great, I would also suggest checking out the Castlevania games for GBA as well as the Metroid Games. Both are great adventure games for the system totally worth checking out. These games are about battling to a certain extent but totally worth your time playing. Also check out Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.
