Aluminum Edition is far from a unique Sonic 2 Rom Hack with a few issues that should be addressed to the developer: there are a few zones that are unnamed and only one of the zones in this game has a palette change (the zone known in the original as Metropolis). The platforms and zone layout is also the same as the original so if you've finished Sonic 2 before there are no surprises with added springs or hazards. With the exception of making Sonic and Tails sprites "aluminum", the TV sets updated to their Sonic Advance counterparts and revamping the Special stages, don't expect this Rom hack to play any different than the original.

I give this game a rating of 8/10, it would receive a 9 or even 10 if there were more uniqueness added throughout the zones, such as the Sonic Megamix Rom hack (Features like Homing Attack, different music and added platforms should had been included). It's not my favorite Sonic Rom Hack but still one I enjoyed playing to the very end and afterwards, rating and reviewing it.
