so theres an xbox 360 game that I really want to play called viva pinata, and it appears that the stand along game for viva pinata costs more than the combined game for viva pinata / banjo kazooie nuts and bolts, and Im wondering if thats because the viva pinata game is not a complete game, or it runs slower or something along those lines. I cant figure out why 1 game would cost more money than 2 games combined.

and yes, Im going to play it on the 360 because thats the system I own.
if anyone has any experience with these games Id like to know.

I think it is because it is the more common copy. I'm sure most people owned both viva piñata and nuts and bolts in one copy rather than just viva piñata, I myself had the double copy. Viva piñata is definitely a complete game, not unfinished in the slightest.

I have the double copy with both Viva Pinata and Nuts & Bolts. I think it costs less because it is packaged with certain XBOX 360 deals so there are more copies to be bought. The game runs perfectly fine and it is complete.

The first 2 games are platforming collectathons, which is what many people wanted, but instead were given a vehicle making game, so many fans were peeved off. I personally liked it, completed it 100% (almost), but overall the rating of the game is about 7/10.
If it turns out that you don't like it, check out the first 2 games, or the recent game Yooka-Laylee, a spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie made by ex-Rare employees that just released today!

Nuts & Bolts is very controversial, but it's not a bad game by any means. It is good as a standalone game if you ignore the fact that it's supposed to be a sequel to Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. You build vehicles using pieces you unlock from playing and drive/fly them around in large worlds. The original 2 were lively collectathon platformers filled with beautiful worlds containing many secrets. The worlds in Nuts & Bolts, however, are almost completely empty and the NPC's are not memorable at all.

I'd say it's a good game, but it's not incredible. I'd probably give it a 6.5/10 or so. If you want Viva Pinata, I would definitely get the double pack.
