It Can Get Cold
Human beings are complicated
We all have a distinct characteristic
Unique only to that person
However they choose to use that characteristic is up to them

It's Warm
They love me
We play, we laugh, we love
They enjoy my company

It's Cold
The warmth I once felt is gone
This is my fault
I regret everything I have done

It's Cold
They said I would never succeed
They said because I am different I will be a nobody
Is this my fault, too?
They left me

It's Warm Again
Humans can change
They love me again
I did something right
I am somebody
I changed my ways
It Is No Longer Cold




I don't really know how to describe this. I felt a need to just let my mind flow since I've been thinking about things recently, such as my actions and how humans work as a species as a result of my actions. I'm not depressed, stuff just needs to be let out sometimes. Let me know what you thought of this.

You did good, man, and I think we can all relate (I hope we all can...I can at least ). On a side note though, the emotions of others are so fickle, you shouldn't think you must have done something right or wrong because they change.
But enough reasoning. I'm ruining a good piece of poetry. Bleh. Sorry. lol
