Hi guys. First of all, before i start... I actually made a portrait of a fairy version of a comic character i made. But due to some details that may be making the portrait for 12+ or more, i will ask the mod of this forum to approve it. And then i'll post it here as a reply or i'll edit this thread.
And now, a bunch of portraits, banners, etc. that i made and even have shown some of you guys in the chat room. I will put a descr
iption under each picture, so please DON'T worry and please!! Calm down!!! Aaaah!!!
This drawing took me a while to make, i'll give you that! The characters are four evil generals in my comics, of which is not published online YET. But the generals are named (from left to right) Dimentio (yes, i named him after the Super Paper Mario villain!), Mayana Zira, Zork Grimedore AKA Zork the spooky, sneaky skeleton and last (but not least) General Skull. All characters used in here are made up by me. Yay! *ahem* They all control a fitting element, because in the story they have stolen the object that created that element, giving them unlimited power with that element. Dimentio has an enormous amount of earth power, Mayana has fire, Zork has water and Skull has wind. It actually was so that Zork had wind and Skull had water, but that didn't really fit well to Skull. And then i realized i should reverse it. And now i have this.
The lightning was tough. I used 4 layers and 7 effects (or maybe even more) to make that from a simple brush line in that color! And the symbols were 4 layers too. So that's actually 10 layers. Yes, i can count. Because the top layers were the 4 from the element symbols, then the characters (of which had no background), then the lightning. And i have a version of this drawing with a dark grey background, so that's 10. Geez... 10 layers!
The character is looking at my pug Mindy. And why? Because i was wondering how i could possibly image Mindy as a HUMAN. And so, this character was made. I gave her a skirt in grey (and overall dark colored clothes) and a confident impression to image her personality: Confident, rebellious and loving to play with someone. That's what my pug is. Also, the dark colors match Mindy's fur in real life too. That's 2 points for this one.
This character was supposed to be for Christmas, but i decided to share this portrait now as it's winter anyway. She looks confused (and to a real life friend even scared), and i can't explain why because i don't remember. Maybe it was for making her more cute? I don't know.
No comme-... Actually, i indeed have to say something about her. I gave her the best shadow i could make with my coloring program. (see 'material used' underneath this text) And it turned out well. I also spent a few minutes in stead of 0,5 on the word 'Vizzed'. C'mon, guys. It's a Vizzed tribute after all!
This banner is basically a Halloween banner for 2016. It is starring my Mario character on YouTube, but he is a vampire here. I've spent (obviously) the most time on my Mario character. Especially because the cape wasn't right every time i was done.
Aaah, yes... The day when my YouTube crew and i were still one. My friends Yayazura7762 (now PrivateYayaz) (red cap, purple overalls), Zewa Nintendofan (Black cap, green overalls), MrGogeta555 (Yellow cap, black overalls) and Muffins&Cakes (the princess with the red dress), my fictive character Lunar (Dark blue cap, grey overalls) and i (red cap, cyan overalls) are jumping out of my PC screen while i am surprised
(more like looking 'very intelligent') and yes, i'm on my room in Nijmegen, where i learn to control my psychical problems and get over my traumatic event.
This picture is a portrait of what Alana from my series Universal Contact would look like. Someone told me her chest was a bit too much, but that's not a huge deal. You can see she's a gamer here but in fact, she's only a person without any hobby with video games or technology.
The is the last one for now. It's actually a drawing from a while ago, but it's worth to post here. This is a young wolf (that's what he was supposed to be, actually) named Alfie and he's running to an empty food bowl because he knows it's time for food. Alfie is a bit clumsy, though. Thus he struggles/slips out over a toy ball of him. Geez.
Material Used:
Most drawings are made with a pencil, re-made with a very thin marker and then the pencil was erased. Scanned the drawings and colored them with Paint . NET (without the spaces). Effects with Paint . NET as well. Idea's made by me.
EDIT:
Updated the descr
iption of the first artwork, it had the word 'her' instead of 'here'. Plus i changed the flipping titleeeeeee.
