So, on my board, most users play Nintendo and Sega games, unsurprisingly considering they come from the retro ROM hacking communities. This rant was written for my board, but is also applicable to here, so yeah, I think at least some people will understand what is going on here.

My story:
Basically, a few of the 'cool' kids found my YT channel (unsurprising, I had over 250 subscribers on the channel), and started to mock me, back in Year Eight, although this died down there is still an undercurrent of this such thing. Unfortunately in a school where homophobia and such seems to prevail over everything, I started getting called a [REMOVED HOMOPHOBIC REMARKS], of course, which I took well.
So, yeah. As you might know my channel is simply called "Cosmic Eternity", as is my username. It's also the first result that comes up when you channel-search the same thing. A few people know this, but at least they don't know I have the channel, they just know I use that username.
So basically, when I get back. I'm waiting for someone to find the channel and start the s*** over and over again, just because I upload Nintendo/Sega/Retro content and not typical teenager COD/GTA/Halo stuff.
Also, my school are particularly fond of being homophobic and immature, so why should I expect less of them?

Things:
Nintendo might be a bit 'kiddy' I can see where they are coming from. The bright colours for a start, and the marketing issues the Wii U and 3DS had. But don't forget a lot of older people do have nostalgia for the earlier titles (the ones I play too), note the use of the word 'older'. So making out shooters are mature when their primary audience seems to be teenagers and the 'professional big YouTubers' (that cater to their kid viewers), well... COSMIC SAYS YOU'RE WRONG! Shooters aren't even realistic, which is a claim some teenagers like to make, too, unfortunately. Now, let's look back to the 90s era, when Nintendo and Sega were battling, people probably didn't single others out for not playing games of a certain type then (other than the usual console wars between Mario and Sonic, but for some reason playing these games now sends you an instant ticket to school hell).

The rating of the graphics is ridiculous. Gamers have never really cared about graphics up until 3D was around, then it became a big thing to rate a game for its graphics. You can't play retro games anymore because they look 'old'.
Also, teenage claims that Call of Duty is hard to master and very diverse is ridiculous, and that Nintendo games are easy AF and too simple is, too. Sure, the NES SMB1 is easy, but SMB3 for instance isn't so, and also I'm not great at games and still mastered Call of Duty easily, yet still struggle with medium-difficulty NES era games.

This is all I can say right now about this subject. I might say more on the next replies if people can discuss this. This also took me about 10 minutes to write or so - I put a lot of time into this
