Unfortunately most of the games I play don't log how many hours you play, and I know I've logged hundreds of hours in some games, no question about it, especially with the way I used to game.

So I found myself wanting to reply to this but not having a solid and definite answer to give. Then this morning I checked my email and found one from PlayStation that listed my 2016 stats. Here's what I learned about my gaming habits for 2016: also note that I'm not sure if my PS Vita/PSTV gaming was counted or not.

Trophies earned: 649
Hours played: 1,112 (what am I doing with my life?)
Most active month: May

"Favorite" games (not my favorites really, just my most played. Trophy hunting does that to you):
#1. Sniper Elite 3, with 137 hours last year
#2. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, with 120 hours played last year
#3. Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, with 80 hours played last year.

I only wish I knew how many hours I spent playing Knack and Arkham Knight in 2015, and how many I've spent on Sword Art Online: Lost Song so far. I'm totally going to be timing my gaming sessions and keeping records myself now. Lol

Oh and as for the top three of last year: I'm not finished with any of them, though Sniper Elite 3 glitching so that you can't platinum it unless you're one of the lucky ones who randomly get certain trophies that you earn to count really puts a damper on my urge to keep working on the trophy list for it.

489 on FIFA 16 and 344 on FIFA 17 are probably the most hours i've put in to a game. I don't actually put a lot of hours in to 1 particular game.

Well it depends on how my day is going but usually when I am playing games, I tend to spend up to an hour or two on them to kill more time off my day or night.

Markeith21 : Hmm what games do you play if I may ask? And is it because of work you don't play as much?

If it's a good RPG I usually play that game many times and that adds to the total time spent on it.
For instance I think I've spent around 400h on FF7, but I can't be entirely sure since the timer stops at ~99h. But I can tell that my first playthrough was around 150h, and every replay around 50-60h.
Then there's the Sims 2 and Sims 3. I've probably spent closer to a thousand hours on both games.

Eniitan : oh uhm theres this game I used to play a lot and called blacklight retribution,I've put over month of gameplay I checked the hours and translated it to days it was about 5 weeks and 2 days,oh and zive clocked in probobly over 1000 hours into payday,and uhm I started playing ultimate marvel versus capcom yesterday and Ive already clocked in about 8-10 hours,lets see...rainbow six has over 500 hours,minecraft way over 1000,fallout four well over 1000 hours,the division about 400-500 hours,oh and 1000+ in resident evil 4 because its quite possibley my favorite game ever ive beaten it like 20 times no joke I literly broke my disk with how much it was played,500+ in dying light,2000+ in mw2 I was prestige ten level 70,god I've wasted so much time on games thats just the tip right there I've played so much more.

The most hours I had for a single game was 190 for Skyrim. I recently bought the Special Edition release, but I haven't checked to see how much time I have into it.

If I was going by how much time I've put into a series, I'd have approximately 882 hours put into the Mass Effect trilogy across 7 play through's. I'm not quite done my eighth yet. 

I've probably sunk over 1000 hours into Minecraft over the last 5 or so years. I also have 160:36 spent in Pokémon Gold, ~40 hours in Pokémon Yellow when I borrowed it from my friend, and I think about 130 in Terraria. Since getting my 3DS, Activity Log says I've spent 37 hours in Animal Crossing NL and 20 in Pokémon Sun.

There are probably more games that I've spent a lot of time with over the years (Star Wars BFII comes to mind).

I'm currently at 122 hours in my Pokemon Heart Gold game. I know it's an outdated game, but I still play it. It's kind of my go-to Pokemon game. I'm also currently at ~50 hours in Pokemon Yellow and ~30 hours in Pokemon Sun.

I have played approximately 44 minutes of Final Fantasy one the PSP. I just got the ability to travel over water with the ship and now I have no idea where to go from here, lol.

I don't have too much spare time to play games, but I've still managed to put a decent amount of time in. I think my most played game ever is The World Ends With You, with somewhere around 110 hours.

Geez.. I've been playing video games for 20+ years, and I have hundreds of games on various systems. So, I've put countless hours into games, in total, but as for specific games?

The more notable ones for me are FFX. I have about 500 hours of nothing but Blitzball alone, and one save file. I've many quite a few files, and each of those have 200+ hours each. My main file has about 800+ hours. And that's all just one game. I've done so many things with Blitzball too, even making an all female team, of which I'm quite proud of. (See, that's my proud face)

Ad for more recent games, without a doubt, Monster Hunter. I have about 1000+ hours in Monster 4 Ultimate, and I just checked, I have 1263 hours into Generations. And I'm not even halfway to the maximum Hunter Rank.  Those games are massive time sinks, but they're just so fun.

So, all in all, I've played way too many video games... XD

I used to play for about 17 hours a day. Then I had to grow up. But I still haven't grown up. But now I have life. And life can get pretty annoying. I haven't had much time to play games much, lately.

Been getting into Dawn of War II and Warframe though.

EDIT: Ohm my gosh, I never even touched on my combined hours of Fallout 3, New Vegas, Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim... ... Too many to count up, but for the people who have played those games, it's not hard to imagine, how many hours I've played. Beaten all of them multiple times, and I do most of the sidequests, if not all of them first. So.... .... Yeah. Thousands of hours, I'm sure.

I've done this and still do it with various games that I either enjoy or enjoyed so it's hard to just mention one game.

I play tetris for 1 to 3 hours, I play the Ratchet & Clank games for 1 to 6 hours, I would play Assassin's Creed 2 for 1 to 5 hours, I would play Bully for 1 to 7 hours, I would play wheelman for 1 to 5 hours, I play Battlefield 1 for 1 to 5 hours, I play call of duty multiplayer for 1 to 3 hours, I play the hitman games for 1 to 5 hours,and I play the Grand Theft Auto games for 1 to 3 hours.

If only I could've kept track of the hours I've spent playing Mario games. I'm pretty sure that in all, I've spent at least 1,000 in Mario games overall, and several hundred of those being from Super Mario 64 alone.

As for the amount of hours I've spent playing a game nonstop (not that I think you asked for this too, just thought I'd share), I've played a Mario game for over 3 hours straight before. And finally, I think I spend an average of 1-2 hours a day playing Mario games. I chose my username well

I spent about 40 hours playing Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, trying to break the game and beat the game in under 6 hours. This includes EU and JP version, and a translation hack (US-English>Chinese).

I spent 150 hours once playing this same game a year and a half ago, which equals a week. That was in a month time. And 38 hours average a week. I could very easily break this record now if I wanted to.

I would not be surprised if I'm the one that's played the game the most; total around 600 hours...yeah, not ideal for a 13 hour long game (or 6 hours with glitches, we basically halved the time since then)

For reference, I've spent 6 hours doing NOTHING but instantly finishing fights to grind beans, nonstop. At night. A very productive way of spending a night, I know.

Also, I've shaked my 3DS for 2 hours straight just for this game. Nonstop, yet again. And I'm planning to do that next month again when I get a N3DS. So yeah, silly stuff.

I have 65 hours on Xenoblade Chronicles now.

What a wonderful game. I'll probably keep playing until I reach 100 hours.

I have spent a good 99 hours playing an amazing Marvel RPG, Ultimate Alliance. It took me a really long time to beat it since I was young and didn't understand some of the clues and I'm pretty sure it took longer than that, but I guess the timer maxes at 99+ hours..... I feel like it took me well over a year to beat.
One game I do remember well is Super Mario Galaxy and that took me 17 hours to beat. Even so, I still haven't unlocked all the features, so I do need to replay it!

Based so on steam games, NASCAR 15 Victory Edition is my most played game. I've played 122 hours on the game, and it is far above the highest amount of hours I have played on steam.

I'm sure I have much more on Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Heartgold, and games like that, but I don't have them with me or in my mind.

I recently got around 24-28 hours on Paper Mario and then completed it. It's not a very long game, but I guess I must've spent some extra time idling or something. I've spent longer on RPGs but this wasn't one of them.
