Zlinqx : Yea, I get it. I have a similar prespective of the game you have, with it not being the greatest thing of all time, the fanbase, yea. Also, I have tried Earthbound, but I wasn't really into it, mostly for the combat system. I found it sort of meh. Well, that's my opinion.

I enjoyed the Earthbound combat system but its more traditional and can definitely show its age in some ways. I like old school RPGs so I don't mind it too much. Undertale, even if the combat system was an interesting idea, still felt almost like a visual novel at times with how linear it was in its progression and story heavy it was. Which is one reason I personally enjoy Earthbound more, but to each their own.

Not sure, a lot of games have made an impact on me but I don't think I have a single favorite game. Kingdom Hearts 2 was it for a while. I loved the concept, was a huge fan of the franchise and that was (and arguably still is) the best game in the franchise. I have drifted a bit towards other franchises but its still definitely up there as one of my top games and I'm eagerly awaiting number 3 (which might become a cnadidate). I've also played several other games I loved like Bloodborne, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim among others too many to list- There's also games like Pokemon SoulSilver, GTA San Andreas, Star Wars Battlefront II etc. which are definitely up there for pure nostalgia and time spent on them alone.

Best mother game would be between Earthbound and Mother 3 (the only ones I've played lol). Out of those I prefer Earthbound, partly because I still haven't beaten Mother 3 but also because I prefer the slightly more quirky tone of the game to the more serious approach of the sequel.

It's between this and Mom's Spaghetti by Eminem without a doubt.

On a serious note though, don't really have a favorite song. Not a huge music listener and even when I do listen to some, my taste tends to vary a lot depending on the time period.

What is the most difficult Japanese word that you've come across so far in your studies of the Japanese language, and why do you think of it as the most difficult word so far?

A user of this : Yes I gave into peer pressure and got Pokemon Sun after going back and forth about it since it released I chose Sun mostly because everyone I know seemed to have gone with Moon (I like being a rebel) and because I like playing at night time in game ironically since I mostly play in the evening. I also liked the exclusives, Drampa is great but I also like Turtonator which I didn't even know about until I started comparing the games.

gamerforlifeforever : I've thought about it since it has received positive reviews but most likely I'll skip it. I was skeptical from the start about the game. The main reason I'm still holding out on it now (and this might sound dumb) is honestly the main characters. They remind me of a boyband with their identical black leather clothing (apparently it's battle gear but I still find that dumb because it's made of leather). I feel that when playing it, I would constantly be thinking about that which would make it hard for me to take the story seriously at all and sort of hinder my enjoyment of the game.

Combine that with me having a huge backlog of games and the fact that I plan on getting Persona 5 and Kingdom Hearts 3 (both of which I'm incredibly hyped for) and possibly Tales of Berseria that means I'm still going to have more than enough JRPGs to entertain me (not even counting the ones I own that I still haven't beaten or Pokemon Sun which will tie me over until then).

Yuna1000 : Don't think I had a single word that I found the most tricky from the top of my head. I know there's been some. At first (after just learning Hiragana) a lot of words confused me because their romaji spelling didn't seem to match with the way they were written using hiragana or how they were pronounced. Once I learned that essentially ei = ee and ou = oo that helped me understand a lot of words I found difficult before. Not sure if I missed my teacher explaining that or if she skipped it. Same when I was learning hiragana before learning that you could combine different hiragana to form new sounds, two words that really confused me at first because of that was Jitensha and Itterashai (even more since it had both sha and a double consonant). There were more I'm sure, I just can't remember them from the top of my head. My vocabulary is still rather limited aside from that but I'm working on increasing it

Yes, I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I was nearly obsessed with it back in the day, I read all of the books by the time I was in middle school and have watched all of the movies (watched the half blood prince and the deathly hallows part 1/2 when they came out in theaters). Favorite character is probably a pretty cliche answer but I'm going with Snape. Just for how interesting his character was and his whole backstory. Definitely a twist my younger self did not see coming. I also like Neville if only through seeing his transformation from the clumsy person he was at the start to stepping up and becoming a hero at the end. Luna Lovegood and Dobby were also some of my favorite minor characters.
