So, this is my review on the game Mega Man X. Enjoy!
Mega Man X, or Rockman X in Japan, is a video game released by Capcom in January in 1994, with it's Japanese release on December 17, 1993. With many spawns of the game, it is very popular and deserves it. The gameplay is very good and entertaining, while intriguing and interesting. As you start playing the game, you can notice a few things. We have really well down cars driving in the background, with the sprites being excellent. As you move along, you will encounter an enemy, which also has a glorious sprite. It's also great how you don't really know what's going on at the beginning at the game, and you have to continue through the game if you want to find out what is happening. Although I have only played the beginning of the game and gone through a little bit of the Ice Penguin section, it is purely amazing. The music, it's just beautiful. I mean, you could listen to it all day and enjoy yourself. Since the game was released in the 90's, it has that classic, but nice style of music. While I don't know much about the story, but the part of the game I played just gives it to me like nothing. And I like that. Cliffhangers can tick you off, but it explains the beginning of the story well as you play the first 10 to 15 minutes of the game. Now, we can't forget the addictiveness. Honestly, you can play this game for hours on end without quitting. Even though the game is pretty difficult, it feels like it's forcing you to play it for a long time. Because of the great stuff in the game and you wanting to know what happens next, you just want to keep playing and not turn it off and go to bed so you can wake up for school tomorrow not feeling so tired that you have to drink a ton of caffeine. Phew, that's a lot to say in a mouthful. And I think the depth is pretty nice. With all the bosses to defeat and layers of layers of miscellaneous things you have to tear through to get into the game more, that pretty much creates a good depth of gameplay. And I just have to say, the difficulty is one of the biggest things about the game in my opinion. The constant enemies and charging up attacks makes it a difficult game to complete, which is good, because you don't want to purchase a $20 to $30 game that you complete in an hour. Trust me, I've played Legend of the Dark Witch 2 (Nintendo eShop game that is $6) and I beat it in an hour.
Overall, I give this game an 8.5/10. I wanted to give it better, but there was some flaws in the game that needed to be judged. So yep, that is my review on Mega Man X. Hope you enjoyed!
