Juliaisme123 : I guess loads of people have actually seen The Apprentice. He interviews subordinates in the board room as they report failure. They blame everyone but themselves and he holds them accountable using what he reasonably knows. He cuts through their excuses every time they try to lie.

Who better than a human lie detector to expect and inspire the truth from government employees?

In case no one else has noticed, Don Trump exhibits strong leadership qualities. He holds those under him accountable and has run huge successful businesses with loads of people under him.

While it is not a bad thing to desire a female leader, the Clinton name will always be associated with presidential sex scandal. Not her. Any woman but. No person wants to see a newsreel about Bill fooling around inappropriately in the Lincoln bedroom. Never again.

Loads of other countries have had females as top leaders and that doesn't automatically make it great shakes. We need to more carefully decide exactly who our leaders are. A female president would not be a first in the world; just a first for the Americans of the United States.

This time, Americans used their brains rather than the passionate desire in their hearts to see another first in the next top leader they elect.

Good for America. Bad for Canada.

Trudeau looks like a weasel next to Trump because he is. Now there will be a much stronger leader (not entirely unlike Obama himself) from the closest country holding him accountable. Yeah. Good luck dealing with Trump. Mr. Pot-Head has no chance to score any points. He'll get stuffed every time by a stronger leader who people do not follow by fluke or family entitlement.

legacyme3 : Actually it's Pence that doesn't care for, ahem, "deviants" but he's not in charge,
Trump doesn't really care so long as you're an honest hard working citizen.
And really you'd be doing the same thing if Hillary won seeing as she's bought and paid for by
people that make a past time of throwing those that don't conform to their beliefs off buildings.
Trust me, I've dug deep, and this is one of the better outcomes you guys could have hoped for

DarkHyren : Except for the fact that Trump has said Pence will be the most powerful VP in history, and, wants to repeal the supreme court decision of Same Sex Marriage being a National right. Pence mind you is the same man who said a woman who has an abortion must hold a funeral for the child in Indiana, and funded Conversion Camps, also known as Pray the Gay away. What if Trump is to be assassinated? Then we're left with Pence.

I only see one good thing coming from this, I supported Hillary simply because she wasn't Trump, but, before her, I supported Bernie Sanders. My only hope is that this election shows the Government that people are tired of corruption in their Government and we get a 2nd Bernie Sanders in 2020. Bernie will simply be too old to run, but, that's why I hope we can get someone like him in the next election.

He may not be ideal but he's worlds better than Hilary imo. This is the best we could have hoped for since the primaries ended.

Quickly realizing however that there's literally like three people on this whole site that agree with any of my beliefs of how the country should be run and what government should be like. So yeah, this is my last post about it. Lol

Oldschool777 : That's exactly right. A VERY large portion of the American people have not just expressed themselves by electing Trump, they've made it crystal clear that they're fed up with the year-in, year-out dog and pony show. We put him in office, now he has to make good on at least some of his promises. We own him and he WILL do our bidding. This was the peaceful alternative to a French style revolution, after all.

Well,I suppose if we want to take the French route,we need to construct a guillotine and shove Obama's and Clinton's necks in there. You are right,Trump was put in by the people AND he can be removed by the people. Something Obama forgot on Day 1. America has spoken,we are sick of the business as usual.

Juliaisme123 : it seems like when it comes to politics it,s always the same whether it,s in the states or down where I live in canada they always end up making all kinds of empty promises whenever there is an election just so people will vote for them  in fact now that the election is over the only people that will be happy will be the ones that voted for Donald Trump at least for now until maybe he ends up doing something that even his supporters will be against

Obviously he is elected because we wanted him, which is why we voted for him and not a confirmed murderer

It's not hard to understand. It is because it is.

DarkHyren : You chose to refer to Donald Trump as "the best candidate." I'm curious what qualities Donald Trump holds that make him a better candidate than the alternatives. I'm personally not a fan of the candidate who has advocated forcing the military to reinstate the usage of means of torture deemed illegal internationally. I'm also not a fan of the candidate who once described global warming as a hoax perpetrated by and for the Chinese. Nor am I a fan of the candidate who doesn't know how many articles there are in the Constitution, proposed to change libel laws to make it easier to sue the press, and, my personal favorite, didn't even know what the nuclear triad is. Yeesh. I hope he has some good advisors.

"Seriously, a lot of you need to wake up to the truth, Hillary is a criminal, feminism isn't about equality, and men aren't demons, even if they make some crude jokes."

I'm pretty that the last two have pretty much nothing to do with Donald Trump being elected. While you can view him being elected (narrowly, at that) as something of a "message," these aren't things that Donald Trump as a politician has much to do with. It has less to do with fighting political correctness and/or feminism and more to do with the fact that he has a bad case of diarrhea of the mouth. As for the first part -- Hillary has yet to be proven to do anything to make her a criminal, even from in depth investigations from the FBI. You can argue conspiracy all you want, but keep in mind that simultaneously Donald Trump has multiple accusations of fraud because of Trump University, and a whole slew of sexual assault allegations as well.

"unlike his opponent he didn't have to rely on lies and mudslinging to get there"

Really? As to lying, are we really talking about the same Donald "I don't know Putin" Trump? Did you watch any of the debates, where he consistently squirmed out of every stupid contradictory thing he's said in the past, often just by interrupting with "wrong"? In addition, while you may not call it mudslinging -- I personally think what he was slinging came out of his ass as opposed to the ground -- he definitely did, for example, insult John McCain, a former POW, by saying that he prefers people who were "not captured." That's just one of many.

geeogree : Even if he's an outsider I don't think that on its own is the greatest way of showing outsiders can win. Trump isn't part of the establishment but he still had a lot of influence being both rich and fairly famous throughout the US and even the world prior to this whole election process. It's basically saying that yes you don't need to be part of the establishment as long as you still have money, power and fame.

While I'm sure it will serve as a shakeup to some extent I'm not sure if it will be quite to the extent you're making it out to be.

SuperCrash64 : CNN typically tries to make any Republican candidate look bad in comparison to the democrat offering so I would say that's a poor example, the same is the case with Clinton and FOX news. While media on both sides in most cases definitely did their best to exclude Trump from the process. Once it was actually clear Trump would be the Republican nominee despite that, it stopped and focus was placed on making Hillary look bad in comparison.

lol so many people can't tell the difference between fiction and reality, between words and actions, between truth and the propaganda the media has spoon fed them.

Wall of text incoming, please note that this may offend some readers, but I don't care, grow up.

-----

On Pence. Yes, he has some extreme views but you're all forgetting (or don't understand) that the VP can't just say "put all the gays in conversion programs" and it will happen, that's not how government works. Not even the President can do that, it would need to go through the senate and face many challenges to even be considered. Plus Trump doesn't care what you identify as so long as you work hard and don't act like a whiny little tumblr troll. You're buying into the fear mongering the Clintons and the media started with these sorts of fears, stop it. Pence is there because he's good with money and Trump believes in using his assets to the fullest, but that's ALL. Trump isn't some weak willed sap that will just listen and obey whatever Pence says.

-----

It always makes me laugh when people say "I support Hillary because she's not Trump". Why? What has he done that's so much worse then someone that has essentially committed treason, then tried to delete the evidence (the emails) got their own soldiers killed when they could have been saved, then lied about it and called the families (Benghazi) liars about being under sniper fire, destroyed and stole items from the Whitehouse, got a child rapist off years in prison then laughed about it a year later, lied about and shamed her husbands rape accusers, but still declares to be a champion of womens rights, someone who was provoking Russia so badly it could have caused a cold war if they were elected, which China, Australia, and England would have had to get involved because they are allies to the respective sides?
Try and give a reason that DOESN'T rely on propaganda, quotes taken out of context or allegations that have a high likelihood of being false.

-----

Yes, Donald Trump was the best candidate from those offered taking a few things into consideration, such as the fact that in most cases it's a two party system and the majority won't vote for a third party, and the other option was Hillary.
The thing about Trump condoning torture is a matter for another thread, so all I'll say is people have become too weak and concerned with hurting peoples feelings let alone their bodies, even when they are terrorists, ESPECIALLY when they are terrorists, and when they are acting like inhuman monsters why should they be treated humanely.
As for the other things he might not know, it's called "learning", Trump will learn the things he needs to know, and quickly too as he's a successful businessman who knows how to run an office. And that's all a government really is when you boil it down, a business.

-----

This election had nothing to do with feminism? Really? When all the Clinton supporters were saying "if you don't vote for her you're a woman hating misogynist" and spread the usual man hating propaganda to make Trump look like a monster you're really going to try and say feminism and man hating weren't involved? I know a lot of people that voted Trump purely so that there wouldn't be a man hating feminist in power.

Only someone that believes the media (which is owned by the Clintons) would deny evidence and say "it's a conspiracy". Treason and felony are a lot worse then declaring bankruptcy, using a LEGAL loophole to avoid taxes (something that ALL the major players, including the Clintons did I might add) and a few ALLEGATIONS of sexual misconduct (which again I will add are suspect considering the timing of their appearance and the fact that several accusers are on the Clinton foundations payroll...)

I didn't say Trump hasn't lied. I said he didn't RELY on those lies to get where he is, unlike certain other people. And you have to remember that the media has twisted and distorted a lot of things he has said for their own profit. As for mudslinging, it's not mudslinging to state a preference and it's not a bad thing to be "politically incorrect", at least you know the speaker isn't pandering to you just to get you on her side, only to stab you in the back when you're no longer useful to her.

-----

And please people, don't bother linking me to "news" sources that are controlled by certain political parties, they are so biased and will say anything to make money, even if they are intentionally lying to do so. This has been proven time and again to be the case, so if you rely solely on what they say then no wonder you can't see the truth.

Think for yourselves dammit, I know this is a gaming site but that doesn't mean that you have to be uneducated children. The fact that I see so many people literally crying over this everywhere I look also doesn't help my opinion that they are just brats crying because they didn't get their way

EDIT: Forgot to say, y'all are scared of Pence when Hillary is the one that is bought and paid for by people that throw transgenders off roofs and behead gays, you really think that wouldn't have had some kind of consequences? lol
lol so many people can't tell the difference between fiction and reality, between words and actions, between truth and the propaganda the media has spoon fed them.

Here is the thing though...

When Hillary lied about Benghazi and people died the total body count was 4 dead Americans

When Bush lied about WMD in Iraq and people died it exceeded hundreds of thousands of people, created a huge recession and the first ever black skinned president had to come in, kill the bad guy and clean the mess up.

Trump may be a rich businessman but that doesn't make him best for business especially not the business of ones sexual preference, religious beliefs or diverse equality issues that are of great importance in this day and age.

People, people, people. Have your parents taught you nothing? Trump has not even taken office yet and people are up in arms and the are riots in some places. Let us give him a chance before we hate him. Look at it this way,he cannot do any worse than it is now. Worst case scenario,he messes up and we vote him out. Simple.

Yes,I voted for Trump. Does that make me a bad person? Or does that mean I am tired of the usual BS that we have dealt with for 8 freaking years?

There is still a chance Hillary Clinton could become president involving a very rare twist in the Electoral College. I think that meeting takes place December 19th-20th but could be wrong so please correct me if I am.

And of course the Democrats are talking about abolishing the Electoral College.

https://www.conservativereview.com/commentary/2016/11/enemies-of-the-republic-liberals-want-to-abolish-the-electoral-college-because-they-lost

If they did that, states like California would be running the show. And no one wants that.

Maybe they should ask themselves why they lost. Maybe they need to look in the mirror and see what we see.

Is Trump flawed? Yes. But does that give people the right to riot, loot and pillage? No. It sickens me that people cannot accept things. Look,I hated it that Obama won 2 terms. But I did not complain,I did not whine,I went about my life. Give him at least to his first 100 days before you decide you hate him.
