Here's how it works.

1. There will be no prizes. I barely have money for me.
2. It's for bragging rights.
3. It is based on lifetime trophies, not how many trophies you have earned this week, month, or year. It's lifetime. If you score 0 points, you get +0 points.
4. There will be separate rankings for platinums and overall trophies. If you want more than that, ask for it. (We will be doing completion % as well!)

My aim is to update this once a month. If at any point, you get bored? That's fine. You will remain on the rankings unless you expressly ask to be removed. I don't mind continuing to add you to the rankings.

I need to get one more trophy so my background updates. I ditched out Hustle Kings days ago, so I'd like my background to show an actual game I own. There goes my first goal

I'm amazed I have that many trophies, but most of them come from my PS3 days. Still, there's no way I can race anyone, so I won't be going any higher in the ranks unless something drastically changes in my life (kind of impossible in the near future).

I'll try to see if I can get anything else. Out of the games I currently own, only two are up for some trophy hunting, but one of them is unlikely and the other is kind of hard I'll obtain anything.

I guess my race will be to become the player with less changes over time. Do I have someone to compete against for this "title"?

I wouldn't worry too much about "racing".

It's lonely at the top. Outside of me, no one is at even 50% of what dericobanjo has, and once you get beyond me, no one else is within 50% of me, either.

Everyone from rank 3-9 can expect movement in the overall category.

This is also why we have multiple rankings boards, so everyone can choose something they are good at. For some, it will be religiously playing a game until you get 100% and getting that completion rating up. For others, like me, it's just about playing games I like, and getting trophies if they come to me. I play so many long RPGs that I don't expect to "race" anyone either.

legacyme3 : Well, I obviously don't expect anyone to try to catch you, even less catch dericobanjo. As you said, the race is on the lower positions, with the price of a top 3 in overall trophies, and I'm absolutely out of that. It's impossible I can get beyond 500 trophies now for the games I have and the trophies left to achieve. Hell, I doubt I could even get to 450 even if I attempted online play.

Despite saying all this, I just obtained two more bronze trophies: I should have gotten one months ago because of a misguide, and the other was incredibly simple. Not sure if I'll have the time or motivation to get the complicated ones in the near future, but at least now I have some funny goals for my free time besides playing because why not.

I'll give a 50$ PSN card if someone beat my position XD (Jk ,lol)

Well, I decided that I'm going to use this month to work on my completion. I'm not going to add any new games and I'm going to try to add at least 20 trophies. It kind of sucks though because I have roughly 6 games listed where I won't get any more than 10% completion because I don't have them anymore.

Could I be a part of this?

I can't promise my PS Trophy Hunting will be all that active, but I've been meaning to get back into playing my PS3 for awhile now. This would be a good excuse for me to at least dump some hours into it each month, and get to the games I've wanted to replay. Maybe I'll finally get that elusive Platinum I've always wanted lol.

I have pretty much devoted my life to this so far. In the past 3 days I put roughly 14 hours into FIFA 15 on my Vita and did as much as I could, already earning the 20 trophies that I wanted to get over the course of the whole month, so I guess I might as well go for 50 now.


My FIFA 15 section went from 0% to nearly 60% so my completion might get a nice boost as well.

zanderlex : Yeah fifa games are actually pretty easy to platinum.. it too kme 9 days of casually trying to get the fifa 16 one... i've not even tried for achievements on fifa 17 and i have 40%

Ironically i platinumed dig dug... The competition i went out in Vizzed Survivor for... Mostly because of emulator issues... but meh..... Unluckily for me most of the games i need to finish are open world rpgs..... so yeah... fun times. 

I'll probably be slipping in most categories soon since I haven't played a game with trophy support in a while. I've been spending most of my personal play time on Dino Crisis, and besides that, I rarely have play time anymore. Maybe I'll get some time this week and a few games to earn trophies on.

Anyway, just wanted to post and show some support for this thread. I'm looking forward to seeing these updates.

I ran out of trophies to earn in two of my games, one is unlikely I'll get all the trophies I could aim for and the last one is being tested out since last week. Still a while before I'll get any trophies, so I'm pretty sure my statistics will not change until January rolls around.

I could also get a hold of a free game that it's actually free and allows for some trophy hunting. Not many games I can choose from (no PS+ and personal dislike of some genres being the main reasons) so I'm not confident in getting anything new soon.

So... I finally got 100% on all three games of the Uncharted Collection. Completing each game on Brutal was very annoying but I feel good about overcoming this vexatious challenge. Now I finally get to play Uncharted 4 that's still sitting in it's original packaging since May 2016, lol.

Anyways, are you still updating this thread every month? I was going to suggest that you add a Points category.

I just looked at these again. I have five platinums? When did that happen? xD I only remember Knack and Uncharted. I tried Sniper Elite III, but the trophies are glitched. I even emailed the developer about it (I'm serious about those trophies now lol) and they said to contact the publisher, who, when I emailed, said to contact the developer.
So everyone acknowledges the poopy situation, but no one takes blame or the responsibility of fixing it...and yet I want SE4? I'm a glutton for punishment I guess.

Still, I can't recall the other three platinums no matter how I try. I need to go investigate my PSN profile now.

Eirinn : Oh Noo! I was going to get SE3 soon. I just finished SEv2 recently on the PS3 with my brother and was going to purchase SE3 for the PS4 via PS Store.

Which trophies are glitched for you?

Kruzer : Well I haven't tried for all of them because the failure of a few to pop kind of took the wind out of my sails, but so far I've been cheated out of: Archivist (find all the war diaries), Nesting Instinct (find all the sniper nests), and nothing is optional (complete all the optional objectives).

The sniper nest one I can't explain, the nothing is optional one is because the game says there are twenty one optional objectives even though there are only eighteen (I believe I got those numbers right), and the war diaries I don't understand either. The statistics page shows that I did all of the above, but the trophies fail to pop and the little indicator below the actual campaign options page show 18/21 on optional objectives.

It's a common issue, and I've heard several supposed workarounds but most involve deleting my file and doing it over and I don't want to do that unless necessary. I'm looking now and the platinum has been earned by 0.3% of players, so it's possible somehow. If you get it and figure something out, let me know please. I've spent nearly 150 hours trying to get as close to that platinum as I can without internet connection for the multiplayer trophies, and I'd like to at least complete the solo trophy list.


EDIT: I forgot "The Gathering" (find all collectable cards) didn't pop either.

Eirinn : Aw that sucks. I've only been in that situation once and that was with the Call of Duty game for the Vita. Never did find out what the true problem was but I'm 95% sure it had something to do with the save file and somehow it was "corrupted." Unfortunately, you can't fixed data that's corrupted ( unless you had a backup before it was corrupted, but who has the time right? ) so the only choice you have is to delete it and start over :/

I'll probably still get SE3 eventually and keep an eye on those trophies as I progress.
