Behold Vizzed users! In the many times I have considered RPGs and my own fictional writing, and during these long musings, I have often thought about mounts and what each important character should ride.

Would it be the mighty Nightmare, so infamous from D&D?

Or perhaps a Pegasus that you fly high into the sky?

Some of us prefer the Unicorn, which even Jesus is said to ride in the last great book of the Holy Bible.


As for me, I think I would choose the nightmare all the way. A dark knight could only be expected to ride a horse such as this. I love black things. I like to tread the "unusual" side of things, and being a rebel is fun.

As for Pegasus and Unicorn, they are cool and all, but it's hard to beat a black horse with flaming red hair and hooves? Yeah, I think everyone knows the choice I intend to make.

How about you, what sort of horse mount would you choose? For D&D or anything?

Pegasus, because if your Pegasus Riders in Fire Emblem somehow manage to survive, the Pegasus Knight is AMAZING! One of the beefiest and best units I've taken to combat. Plus the riders are really to boot.

Sword legion : I just prefer Sleipnir. Eight legs? That's just really cool. Plus it can travel between this world and the underworld. Who wouldn't want that?

I was going to post in this thread before, but I will choose Pegasus since I like that one more. I didn't post straight away because I needed to think about who I was going to vote for. Since I know it wouldn't be easy to do. I did think about nightmare although it has its own qualities of things it would had been weird for me to go with nightmare that doesn't fit with what I like.

I want a giant,fire breathing,winged dragon. That would be a great way to get around and if I do not like something,I can have my mount raze it to the ground.
